Well, heres a good one... the other day I went onto the Chrysler/Dodge website to check my VIN regarding the leaky transmission "thread" on this site and low and behold my VIN claims that I bought a Touring Sedan instead of a Limited.... WTF?
So, today I am heading to my dealership to find out just what the hell is going on here, because I didnt buy a Touring Edition... I bought the Limited Model or so I thought.
Better check your VIN`s to see if they are the model of car you are driving.... my husbands is correct 06 R/T Charger Hemi. Besides, nowhere on my car is there an emblem that says Touring or Limited.... just on the actual window sticker that was on the car.

Ummmm.... easy there....
I think I remember hearing here that on Magnums, the SXT is an option package on the base SE.
Perhaps, your VIN issue is similar?
Good luck!

I hope you dont just have a 300 emblem on the back if so you may just have a base what kinda engine do you have in it 2.7 or 3.5?? Also the limited has a bunch of C options in it like auto up/down windows for the front driver/passenger, I believe they also have dual climate control.

Hi Luke
Oh believe me, I have the full package here completely loaded with every option other than the nav. I have have the kickass rims on mine compared to the spoke looking ones. The price on the window sticker when I bought it said $39,900.00 CDN also said "Limited". so I have no idea whats going on here.... but will find out today.

Those prices sound right for a limited. The "Limited" may be a trim option for the Touring model. That is they only have 1 model per engine when VINing the cars, but different trim classes/options. People have mentioned that the Magnums are categorized in this way when looking up the VIN on the computer. Here are some of the options that are on the Limited, but not Touring. 18" Chrome "dish-like" wheels instead of aluminum 7-spokes, dual climate control vs. manual climate control, auto-headlights, and I believe the Limited has EVIC, I know the Touring does not.

:bling:Okay, so here is how the "what the hell am I driving" went today at the dealership.
They punched in the VIN and it came back as a 2006 Touring Sedan Limited.
Apparently I have all the options of a touring with a few more upgrades and trim package which now makes it a "LIMITED" Edition.
Total Optional Customer Preferred Package $8800.00
So, why didnt they just add a LIMITED emblem to the rear of this beast???????

lxguru....yah, they use the touring emblems because thats whats on the 300 in the showroom.....so they all have emblems except the Limited! Well, we`ll see about that!
I think I am really going to have some fun and get a custom made "DUB LIMITED" emblem and when my car is ready with the new rims, tires etc.... I am going to stick that mother to the rear end of my RWD and blow smoke....(lol):bling::pepper::popcorn:
