Tinted Tail lights with clear!

well I didnt like the way I tinted them orginally so I put on 5 coats of clear and now they are shinny just like the car!!! Which is the way I wanted them!!! In the pics my car looks white but it actually silver!! Here are the pics

Yes its a new invention!!! Just came out last week!

I just used regular auto clear paint. Sanded all the gloss off then used my pc and polished the lights.

How bright is the sun where you live? DAMN... C'mon, that ain't your car. Even the shaded areas on the car are still white... look closely. and the rims still show silver, the parking lot marker is still white, and that car has a spoiler, which isn't evident in your silver pic. You pulling my leg? very nice tails though.

BTW it is silver....look at the first pic in the bottom left corner......where there is no sun and/or flash.....it is silver!

Hate to do this... but... WRONG. The car in the first 2 pics is cool vanilla in color. I would love to see anyone take a picture of a silver car in any kind of light and have it change to a completely different color, especially another color offered on that car, unless of course we're talking multi color pearl paints, which Dodge silver isn't.

The area you speak of may appear slightly gray, but son, it's in the shade... and it still appears white to me, just shaded white. As for the spoiler, the young lad speaks no where in any other post of adding this spoiler. When someone posts in error fine, but when someone claims a picture is something it isn't, thats just wrong.

UMMMMMMMM NOPE SORRY YOU ARE WRONG!!!! I added the spoiler!! I actually had it on my car before but took it off cause I put it on crooked! Then it took me a couple months to get back to the spoiler and I just put it back on! Which by the way I am still not happy with so I will probably take it off again and have a shop mold it into the trunk like hemmissey did over at 300cforums. Thats why I have never posted pics cause I dont really like the way its turning out! But Mr.Blacksunshine I will let you know when I take it off again as to not confuse you so you dont call me a liar and accuse me of putting up pics of other peoples cars and saying there mine! OH yeah I will bet whatever you want to bet that the 2 pictures of the tinted tails are my silver 300! I took these pics right in front of my house! The sun was blazin on the rear end but I didnt feel like reparking the car! I am a pretty bad picture taker and thought the beach setting would make the pic look better I was wrong when I loaded the pics to my computer I was like damn I got a white 300 now!!! But I was too lazy to go out and take new pics! With these pics I wasnt trying to make sure my car color was the same I was trying to take the best pic I could of the tinted tails and how they looked. I also wanted to show there were not swirl marks in the tails!

So Mr.Blacksunshine there you go now if you would please apologize for calling me a picture stealing liar I would greatly appreciate it!

Yeah I live in a town house !!! Where I have 2 parking spaces if you look at my sig pic you could see that the parking spaces in the community are painted with white lines!

OH also I did put in back up sensors! I thought you would want to know! But the 2 on the left side I needed to get repainted cause I chipped them when putting them in and I ran out of my SILVER paint! The 2 on the right looked ok but I said what the hell and decided to get them painted also. So that would be why I havent posted pics about installing parking sensors either cause the jobs not done. Of course if I took a pic of the car now you would just see 4 holes in the bumper cause I have taken out the sensors and they are currently in the paint shop! OH and by the way my rims are chrome!

Here is a pic of my car if you look at the back of it, it looks white! Why??? Cause of the flash and sun I guess no idea! Damn thats a good side by side shot of before and after the pillars are painted!!!

Well, In all pics but the two very top ones your car still appears very silver. I await the pictures or your car with the spoiler and backup sensors...

But, should those arrive I shall say in advance I apologize and I'm glad I keep my shoes clean as they taste quite good... I am still having a hard time with the idea that silver turns "cool vanilla like" in sunlight... stranger things have happened of course. My 24 year old "slow learning" community college brother makes 6 figures while I work blue collar with 2 degrees and a ton of debt... now that's strange.

sorry!! I agreed, but now I see where you are coming from. the reason why they dont look too tinted is because the sun is glaring right into them, but you can still tell of course. took a few days for the redness to come out of my lights after i tinted them (the adhesive has to dry).

They are dark in person. I didnt want them too dark. I put 2 coats on them. Without the clear they were darker I think the clear took some of it off or something but I still like them!!

Here is a pick of the back of my car. Sorry I didnt include the sensor holes it look kinda ghetto. Yeah the spoiler looks like crap also!!! But this is being posted just to prove a point! Also I found this pic on my camera I took it the same day! I didnt realize it!!! But this shows the car is also part white!!
