Was headed home on 680 from the shop after getting some TSB work done, stuck in traffic and as it cleared a rumbling white Z28 pulled along side two lanes over and the guy got a look at me and gestured out the window as he took the next exit. After months of getting picked on http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif, its nice getting some recognition.
Oh and happy weekend.
I got the same from a guy in a Trans Am... Yeah, it's a good feeling!!!

Yep, was grinning the whole way home. I usually get ignored here in the land of high traffic freeways, hondas and bimmers, so it was nice.
I know what that's about.... Put on an Corsa, they won't ignore you at WOT!

You're gonna love that stereo ROAR so much that what you used to call fuel economy will not be the least bit economical at all!! Think of it like I do...as an entertainment expense!!

No kidding! You know what's funny? I love the sound of our HEMIs under power so much I look for nice hills to drive up....not screaming, but cruising and listening to the engine as the sound deepens as more juice is added...

After 7500 miles I can make her sing. Well snarl at slow drivers. :)
Though the rear tires are starting to chirp, damn good years.

My buddy (M3 owner) and I went to a practice MX track last weekend with the Magnum and the two bikes on the trailer. Of course Maggie had a load on with the trailer and all our gear and was talkative. There was a slow car and of course I had the go fast fever as we were going riding, I passed the car going uphill from 40 to 85 and back again. I liked my buddys response, "this thing is just EVIL sounding when you do that!", and " The fastest tow vehicle EVER"! Coming from an M3 owner with a stainless magnaflow exhaust system fed me for the week! And all I did was loose the eardrum and the resonators!

Nothing like the sound of the CAI, high flow cats and catbacks all singing in perfect harmony.
That's why my gas mileage SUCKS.
It's my right foot's fault.
ps Charger girl- He was half checking out the car and half checking you out

I figured, but it was cool. With the sheer glut of cars out here, its rare I get any recognition, so I geek out when I do.

i am lucky.. i get it all the time.. in a small town there aren't many cars like mine!
Hell even my dad flipped me off when I pulled in his driveway with it the first time! lol
it was a "you suck, I am jealous" flip off...
but revenge is sweet. He bought a 64 GTO brand new in 64 and i grew up NEVER allowed to get anywhere near the drivers seat..
