Finally got a new camera, so I can share some of my latest mods with y'all

first are my LED dome lights. Bright Blue. I also changed out the rear "reading" lights above the doors. Sorry, no pics of those yet. Same color though.

Next I got some Stickers to cover the ugly airbag warning stickers on the Visors

And finally my brand new Custom engraved T-Shifter Handle. It says BISCUIT (sorry, the pic is a little blurry). I should have taken more pics of this at different angles.... I will later!

Here's my new Grill (Precision)

Here are my blacked out tails (color matched). The guy matched my color - Brilliant Black - and added clear to the mix.... sprayed it on, then cleared over the top. Wet sand, polish, buff.

Great people, quick shipping....

If they don't have what you like pre-made, they will custom make some for the same price, sort of...

For me, I have the base model 300, all their stickers said 300c or hemi so I asked them to remove the "C" and send me just 300. Didn't cost me anything more....

It may cost more if you want a name, or initials or something along those lines though...

Ok! So my craftsmanship sucks ....huh? Well just make sure VCR wires directly into the BFE circuit, by-passing the rectified circuit or it won't work. I actually talked with brian from VTR and their gonna do the work. I decided to do it proffesional and it's not going to cost much at all!

I didn't mean to make you guilty. VTR would probably do a more professional job anyway. I can point in the right direction or they can do it. What ever you decide. I don't know when I could be free to come out though.

In other words what Mikey is saying is: "I thought about the offer I made to you guys to help me with my lights and me buying beer, then I heard the rumors of how Weet and Slim are when they have been drinking and figured I better steer clear."

Biscuit,
Gotta love your confidence. Hope you aint ever ridin' dirty!!!

I suppose laws vary from state to state,,,but does anyone know a general interpretation of the law regarding tail light brightness??

After some research,,,it seems "painted tail lights" are not allowed in texas.
Hhhhmmm,,,,should i test the enforcement of said law?!??!

Don't paint them.... Just Get the GTO Covers. If you get a fix it ticket, take the covers off, and get rid of the ticket....

Or take the covers off and go to court saying the cop pulled you over for no good reason and he must be blind ;)

Most laws that I have seen, state the light must be clearly visible from 500ft.

Yea but do not forget about the video cameras in the police cars that will say otherwise.

Im starting to not like Texas so much! Heres what Texas has to say about tails,,,among many other checks:
2. Inspect for and reject if:
c. Lamp does not completely emit a red light plainly visible 1,000 feet to the rear.
d. Lamp lens is painted, missing, discolored, or does not fit properly.
h. Lamp lens is not red color.

Pretty much the same for stops:
2. Inspect for and reject if:
c. Lamp does not emit a red or amber light which is actuated on application of the service (foot) brake.
d. Lamp is not visible from a minimum distance of 300 feet to the rear of the vehicle to which it is attached.
e. Lamp lens is painted, missing, discolored, or does not fit properly
:bsflag:
And i just got my plates yesterday,,i supposed they'll want the dang bracket on the front.
Just waiting to get pulled over for my Blue headlight covers
Thank God my wife doesnt drink,,gotta love designated drivers.:beerchug:

Biscuit, i might use that Rdndrty tag since you opted not to. Might as well advertise. :blam:
