All taken yesterday down by the St. Louis Arch and industial area close by. Many thanks to David for being the camera man. I did a little crop'n and tint'n for some effects.

Yeah, I agree on the Cardinal / Arch one. but that is just part of a HUGE wall. . .it was right in the middle and I just cropped it down to get the dedication to Jack Buck . . .a.k.a. "The voice of St. Louis".

Pretty nice pics! Might not want to park overnight there though. Could end up with some real interesting free graphics!

Thanks all. . . actually, not far from the Gateway Arch, you can actually see it in the background on the last picture on the left side, between the rails.

No, you DO NOT want to be there after dark, but we saw lots of police while taking the shots, so didn't feel too "at risk".

The camera is a Canon 20D. . .each image was probably 4MB and we took hundreds. . .best of the best is easy with digital. . .don't like it, delete it!

Lastly, I spent 2-3 hours in PICASA to fine tune, add tint, enhance shadows, highlights, even rotate the image, and most importantly crop. If you notice, none of the images are exactly the same size.

Great pics and a fab setting for some good shots. And the car looks great. These SRT8 chargers are growing on me.
I really like the shot under the 13' 10" bridge -- reminds me of bullitt somehow...

Danno,

Nice pics. You'll have to make sure you PM or email me when you post something. I'd love to follow it. I'll do the same on this and the 300Cforums.com site. There are a lot of Charger and Magnum owners over there as well.

Have a great week.

If any of you want high-res desktops, just PM me and let me know. . .I've go no problem sharing. I did a couple different versions due to wide screen at home and 4:3 on my laptop.

Jaak, man ya gotta learn to slow down in the city. Looks like your car travelled about 1 foot in the 1/125th of a second the camera's shutter was open.

So, then roughly, you were travelling 125ft/sec which is approx 85MPH.
Ya must have needed that milk and bread real bad!!!!

Now that's funny! That must have been the shot where the ultra fast shutter speed was used.

Right on, I'm going to PM you now! I run dual 19" monitors so the wide shots with the graffitti would look awesome! Beans for you!

Oh, yeah, the carpet came unhooked and the gas pedal was jammed under it... Got pulled over right after that and the cop said "You going to a fire or something?"

"Well Officer, it is red..."

You know, only someone who works with numbers all day, would work that out... LOL!

Actually, my car was doing 3 GHz in that picture.
