Pics are long overdue. The ball is an ESAD original, filled in by me with cool vanilla touch up paint. The boot is made by our very own 1CoolVMangum.

Me love the ball and boot long time!

Abyss? Bah. Many of us have knobs; and we all know that happiness is a polished knob. What's abyss-able about that?

As for where I got my knob, I'll thank you not to ask again. (http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=21846) Just plain rude if you ask me.

I've got an 8-ball already drilled and tapped I'm not using anymore...

I've still got about 2 more weeks before I can wax my knob...

No abyss, not having a shinny knob is not so attractive. Some people just have there mind in the gutter.
Whatever you used, can you send me some... Shinny Knob = smiles!

I think a pool ball is way too big for our shafts. I found a knob about the size of a ping pong ball, but it may not be easy to obtain. It comes on a '87 JD riding mower.

Okay, back on the subject. I've been itching for a round knob. Where can I get one and what will it cost?

I've searched and been unlucky. I'd like to get a brushed aluminum look.

The polish ESAD recommended, Mothers Billet Polish (http://www.autogeek.net/motbilmetpol.html), is unbelievable. Expensive, yes. But it works like nothing else I've tried; spit included. Just don't let it dry on there... OUCH!

RTjunkie, I thought looked quite svelte in this shirt! :loser:

now were talking about shafts and knobs. I think a blu knob would look great on your shaft!!!!!!
