NICE!! I know its an optical illusion but with the chrome centers, instead of grey or black, I think the lip looks allot deeper.

Yeah you should see them in person.. The LIP is absolutly huge. The pictures really dont do it justice. I am really happy with how it turned out and thanks for all the great feedback on it.

Awesome! Really sets off the whole car.Did it take a year for the wheels to arrive or did it take a year just for you to get them? Anyway really sweet.

Well I bought two wheels from a guy on ebay--Jrod is his user name cause he is on this forum some. Anyway I bought those a long time ago and have had them sitting in the basement waiting to get the other two wheels and then the 4 tires. In the meantime I found a sweet deal on the springs so I got to do it all at once.. Anyway I am so happy to finally have them on.. It was killing me seeing this just sit in my basment so long.

So what should I take the door molding off? I am torn.. I like the line there for some reason but part of me think it looks cheap too. I dont know.. I need some help.

Take it off carefully in the sun and you can always put it back on if you want. Car looks great !! Wish I had the dough for those rims.

Nice ride, the wheels really make a huge difference. Although you did a great job mounting the yakimas to the factory rails. I used Yakima truck mounts for my bikes, and just drilled them into the cross bars.

Did you drill the crossbars?

It'll look good either way, your call on removing the molding. I removed mine and I'm glad I did.

As for the Yakima trays.. I actually used the nice boa mount steel heads. They are made for the road bars but the factory rack has a inner piece or sqaure inside the flat oval. The oval edges are made to make it aerodynamic. So basically I measure the width of the head of the rack and cut the aero part off the front and back of the bar then clamped the steal head aroung it and amazingly it works perfectly. Anyway I will try to take some pictures because its hard to explain. Dang I cant type fast..

WOW!!!...those look GREAT.

As far as the door mldgs. go...I like them on. They break up the height of the doors , and come in handy when some jacka$$ gets to close in the local Wallyworld parking lot.....even though we always park out farther than any one else , by the time we get done and get back out to the car , there`s ALWAYS some wise guy that has to park right next to it!

I`d rather re-paint a door mldg. , than fix a ding and re-paint the door (or more).

I'm not a big chrome fan, myself, but I must say that with your cars color, the combination is stunning. probably one of the best I've seen. Good choice.

Did you get those from Ernie?

yeah I really debated over getting the silver centers but with my color of car I thought that would look stupid so I went with the chrome. I am not really into the shiny bling bling looking crap. i just wanted a hot rod look and the nitrous wheels defenitly have that. I am very happy with my choice and I really appreciate all your guys feedback. Its awesome to hear. Anyway thanks again.
