I'm just looking for a little more info on why I shouldn't run 114.3 bolt pattern wheels as opposed to the 115 bolt pattern wheels. I know the difference between the two but how would it affect it positive or negative??

It seems the 114.3 or 5 on 4.5 is more popular size with more choices while the 115 is a new size??

Hold out for the 115 per spec. You don't want to risk having a shimmy, and you certainly don't want to be messin' with any spacers...

EDIT: Hey, welcome to our humble little forum, BTW!

Welcome to the forum.

I highly recommend using the search option. Searching for something like "bolt pattern" will get you a lot of hits. Here are a few to get you started:

It's the wrong size. Why is that so hard for people to accept? There are more 5x4.5 choices out there, but they don't fit right. It's like putting on a pair of size 32 pants when you wear 33. Sure you can get them on, but should you?

Some people get away with it, I guess. For me it just seems wrong. The difference is about .018". This may not sound like much, but to me it is a HUGE difference. Think of how much weight is on those lugs and how fast they spin. A local shop I trust told me they used to do it by torquing the lugs with the car off the ground, but had too many problems. They quit doing it. MAYBE if the wheels are hub-centric, but still I wouldn't do it. There are lots more choices in a 4.5" bolt pattern wheel, but that doesn't make it right.
