I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with Verde wheels... I'm thinking about picking up some of these...

Anyone care to share any insight based on your wheel buying experience that would support or shoot down this purchase?? Any input is appreciated :beerchug:

You know my opinion already...:thumbs_u:
Those are nice cause you have the best of both worlds. You've go a touch of bling w/ the chrome and the sinister look of black on the same rim! Just do it and let me know when to come by and check it out!

Dorian, man, you're one bad influence I can count on like clockwork! Thanks momsr/t... I debated going with something more plain like the american racing 311's, but I can't bring myself to drop two bills on wheels and tires if they're not going to reach out and slap people to get their attention when I drive by, y'know?

I had Verde wheels on my Scion xB and they were excellent quality wheels. The ones you have chosen look bad ass and would look great on a MAGNUM. Ofcourse I like bling ! Go for it !:thumbs_u:

Thankye shagnum. I s'pose I should throw in there that I have a midnight blue r/t, with black sxt headlights, and will (hopefully) be getting mopower's open grille some time this fall as well. That should help with envisioning the look I want to go for... black n' blue.
Also - these are listed some places as 5x115, some as 5x114.3, and are apparently offered blank as well. Anybody have experience having blank wheels drilled out? Size is 20x8.5"
It appears I can get offset at +15mm or +38mm. 15mm is stock for the 7.5" rim... what do I want with the 8.5" width?

Isn't our stock 7.5" +24? The difference of 9mm is less than 3/8". I think  the smaller offset pulls the rim into the well. Sure somebody will clear that up.
Have you called on availibility?
Good Luck!!

Uhhhh. I dunno, is it? I thought it was 15, but worth noting. Availability doesn't seem to be a problem. If I had to choose between moving further into the well and further out, I'd pick further out, as long as I wouldn't have any rubbing issues. m-square - thanks! I was happy with the find, and not floored by the price. These wheels are my motivation for having worked over 30 hours already this week as of right now, 6:45pm on tuesday :-D I may post a couple alternates in the near future, just in case anyone wanted to change my mind :-) BTW, I love this forum...

While we're at it (or I am anyway), since these rims aren't offered in a staggered setup, what tire tread widths are people running on 8.5" rims? Let me know if you think you have a min. or a max. I might just stagger some with the rubber. My other option is to go 22's on the back, but as I understand it the car can't handle that confusion just yet.
