Does anyone know the available options for the tires I'm looking for? I know if I look long enough, I would probably find most of them (I've looked quite a bit). It must be a pretty short list. So far I've only been able to find: Goodyear F1 and Toyo Proxis. Seems like there must be a few more 245/45-20 or 255/40-20 out there. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Redfox. Weird - they don't list that size on their site (any more). I'll check around and see if it's just an ommission on their part.

Falken FK-452 comes in 255/45R20. Outer diameter is 29", vs. the F1 or RSA 245/45R20's at 28.7". Should fit ok if you can handle the slight extra width.
Also have Avon Tech M550 AS at 245/45R20. OD is 28.6" so shouldn't be a problem. Both are quite a bit cheaper than F1's.
The Falken 452's are relatively new and I haven't seen much in the line of reviews on them yet.

I've never found a 255/40..and I looked for months. I've been told over and over again...no one makes it. If you find one please post...I'd like that size.

The Toyo Proxis T1-S is supposed to come in a 255/40-20 and it is 'Y' rated. :thumbs_u:

nope....255/40/19 and 255/35/20....no 255/40/20. And I was told that since they make a 35 series already they probably won't make a 40 in the 255.

Tire Rack sell the new Yokohama Parada Spec-X in 255/40/20 for $145 each. Yoko says it is 28.1 inches.
"The PARADA Spec-X is Yokohama Tire’s Street/Sport Truck All-Season radial developed for performance pickups and SUVs, as well as modern muscle cars like the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum. The PARADA Spec-X is designed to combine impressive looks and confident handling with year-round traction in North America's wide range of weather conditions, including light snow."

wow....finally some progress. See what can happen in only a few months...which was the last time I checked, earlier this year. Now I know I'll have choices in a few months when I want( not need!) new tires!
