Guys, I got a hold of some Brembo brake calipers with all the hardware needed to bolt on to my Daytona. The thing is when they were taking off i guess they didn't care about the finish of the calipers and scratched them a bit. I'd like to touch then up with the same Red caliper paint Brembo uses. Anybody happen to know where I can get the Red for these calipers?

thanks!

Where did you get them? Chop shop?

I think the brakes are powder coated and not painted.

I think you're right! they are powder coated. And no not a Chop Chop LOL.

More like lucky. But they do have a few scratches and not ready for prime time. Anyone have an idea how to touch them up without screw that up?

I'm going to use the Dupli-color's caliper painting kit to do mine. They do have red.

I'd like to match the "Brembo red" if I could, but I can't seem to find any vendor that has it. I even called Brembo and they said they don't sell touch up paint and referred me to their customer service department. they weren't any help either. they just don't sell the brembo red paint.

I thought it was agreed that they are powder coated?

So, have them re-coated, any color you like.

Do they really look that bad as they are?

If they are powder coated, no paint is going to look right on them. Only real option you have is to have them re-done.
