I just realized that this event is coming up this weekend. I'm planning on going. I know it's really short notice, but if anyone has Saturday open, I'd enjoy some company!

Don ,
can you just park in with the cars or is a pay to park event. I was only planning on staying an hour or so with this heat and didn't want to pay $15 for just an hour..

I did a quick drive by of the show and saw that Red Hot Magnum of yours. Maybe I'll make PIR next week.

You're not kidding there! This heat is killing me... I don't do heat very well! :sad:

Thank goodness one of the neighboring cars brought a large cover they were willing to share!

OK guys......I'm still in the upper catagory of brain cell activity. I thought maybe MMM had a new thread, boasting how he did at the Rose festival thingy, and I couldn't find it! So Don.....did you "wow" the spectators with your new mod? Come on! Details man!!!

It was fun. I got a whole lot of compliments and a bunch of questions (not to mention a few "no, it's not nitrous... it's for the air ride suspension!"). I was the only LX vehicle there (other than a brief stop by Kevin to check the car out). The only complaint I have is that it was too dang hot!!! :sad:

Oh... I forgot to add... I love my remote control. It's such a kick to what the reaction of people when they're looking at the car and all of a sudden it starts moving! Dang!, I love that!!!

For me, the best place would be somewhere off I205 near the airport. Maybe a restaurant or other place on Airport Way. Are you familiar with that area?

That would be very convienent. Easy to get to off the highway and easy to get back on.

I dont' know the address off hand. I can get it though if you need it. Do you have a Nav?

It's really simple to find though. Take the Airport Way east exit off I205. First stop light, turn left... you'll see Sheri's on the left.

Shari's Restaurant address is 11335 NE Airport Way. I'm thinking we should plan on meeting there between 11-11:30 a.m., leaving at 11:30. That should get us up there beween 2:30-3 p.m. even with a stop or 2 along the way.

Either of you guys have walkie-talkie type radios? Those worked really great on our trip to SoCal. Makes it really easy to communicate between cars.
