Newbie in Bothell

Just picked up a 06 Charger R/T last week, love it so far! I also have a couple of older Mopars.
I have a question for everyone. Keep in mind I bought the car used with 6k miles on it. It looks like my car has every option but a sunroof and I can't tell if it has side airbags or not. But it does have the Road and Track package which is supposed to include auto headlights and one touch up and down front windows. My car only has auto down windows and no auto headlights. Any reason? It has the suede seats and the R & T rims on it, so I figure it has the package.

Hey, there!!! Welcome from Gig Harbor. If the options they say are supposed to be on the car aren't, go to the dealer and ask them why they aren't. They can pull the VIN and tell you exactly how it was ordered.

Chargers dont come with Automatic headlights at any model level. This can be done with a very simple 20 min mod and a dremel-type tool.
Good choice on the R&T option.. I really feel that it was worth the money.
I hope the dealership didnt lie to you. If they did, demand the auto headlight switch and that they install it!! The switch from the 300c's fit it perfecftly.

Does your headlight knob have the auto selection all the way turned to the left? Does your dash have a liitle greyish button like sensor on the top up in the center by the winshield?

If the knob has it then you should have it... if the knob does not have it but you have the button like sensor on the dash you can do a 2 minute mod and activate auto headlamps.

Also, if you do not have a buildsheet for your car which would list ALL of the options and equipment on your ride, PM an LXForum member MoparStore AKA AJ. He works for Timberline Dodge in Portland. PM him you complete VIN and he will PM your buildsheet back free of charge cause he is just the shizzle. ROFLMAO:)

Welcome from a member up North. Electrofied pretty much summed it all up. The only thing I can add is that my mag has little badges on the "B" pillar showing that there are side airbags. Keep in touch, the Northwest bunch seems to get together fairly frequently for all kinds of adventures.

Thanks for the welcome. I don't even really care if it has auto headlights or not, it would just piss me off if the car was supposed to have it and doesn't...lol I'll PM MoparStore and see about the buildsheet. I bought it used with 6k miles on it and the window sticker didn't come with the car. According to the carfax, it was bought at Lynnwood Dodge in November.
