OK guys, here's the scoop.
My new girlfriend:grin: gets a new house built by her brothers and is mostly busy on nice weekends, which means I'm going to be at the any upcomming car gatherings like this one.:wink:
If the weather is bad, I'm with the G/F but who know's maybe she's coming out June 11th.
We went together to check out the guys of MidwestWestRacing, nice guys there. I might join but don't want to mis out the fun with you guys.

We will see, time will show.

I know we’re all busy during these short summer months, but this gathering is very close to my heart and I hope to see a lot of you there.

When my cousin Mindi was 16, she was told that a lung transplant was the only way to control her Cystic Fibrosis. She had fought the disease her whole life and we hoped that modern medicine would be able to ease her suffering a little. That was the summer of 1992 and Make A Wish contacted her to grant her wish. She wished for a trip to Chicago (she lived about 2 hours north of Milwaukee WI, in Watertown) and an unlimited shopping spree. She was able to take 2 guests and she chose me and one of her nurses from the Children’s Hospital. We had a deluxe suite at the Ritz Carlton downtown. It was the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in before or since. We also had all our meals paid for, unlimited access to the mini bar, a limo or carriage to take us wherever we wanted to go and a $2,000 shopping spree to Marshall Fields. She had a great time with her personal shopper and bought so much we could barely get in all in the car on the way home.

Mindi died in September of that year, but Make A Wish was able to give her a couple days of joy and escape that no one else could. That was a long time ago, but it was a wonderful time and I’ve never forgotten everything they did for her and for our family. If you can make it out, please do. I was told get there early but they would take car of us.Probably early like 8amish. I got Megzero Stopping in today to talk face to face with them. He lives right there.
They dam well better be nice to me I bought 2 cars from them in the last 6 months.
I'm not sure how were helping raise money for Make a Wish the flier doesnt say. It's a good cause so it's worth it if we have to pay.

There is a Super Walmart just down the road from Dodge of Antioch at Rte. 173 and Deep Lake Rd. Let's assemble there at 8:30 and all roll in together. We'll be a little early for the show, but we'll get the best parking that way. We can grab some breakfast or just have some extra cleaning time :wink:

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to Dodge of Antioch for the Nostalgia Car Show. We had a good turnout and made a big impression. Out of the 7 cars we had in the show, 4 participants won raffle prizes!:banana: The event made a total of $3000 for the Make a Wish Foundation.
It was a good time for a good cause!!

Yea like Amy said we had a great time. I don't need to say my motto about meet do I you all should know it by now.
Serbs 3000 is good seeing that last year they only pulled in 1400.

I would like to hope that we sold some cars for them seeing as we had more then a few people thinkin are Display was the dealers. That was to funny that lady opening up the tailgate on Meg Zeros ride. I think if Kristin hadn't seen her and her kids doing it they would have gotten in. After that i locked B/C and well wouldn't you know it some old guys tried getting in.
I think the alarm Scared the poop out of the one guy. And of crouse it had to happen when the DJ wasn't playin anything so every one heard it. The Old guys were nice thou i talked to them for a few mins and offered to buy the one guy a new pair of pants if he needed.:mrgreen:
So Now we see that a Banner is needed for group showing like this.
Plus we got another idea to show we have pride in our rides and as a group. A/K you know what I'm talking about lets get on that.
