August 12th / House of Klass

OK,

As I've been starting to discuss, Monica and I have decided to choose Saturday August, 12th for the day of the August M/G. This will be hosted at our home in Plainfield, IL. (Rt. 126 & Rt. 30)

There is plenty of room here for crashers, or a hotel down the road can also be set up. This will be an all-day affair, so bring your belly:popcorn: , your drinking shoes:beerchug: , and the kids:huddle: .....

Shish Kabobs, Monica's cookies, and plenty of beverages to wet your thirst will be available. I'm even thinking, maybe if we all pitch in a bit, we may be able to rent an inflatable JUMPY for the kids.....(Just an idea)

Our neighbors may join in as well. They love to come to our parties!!!:pepper:

It would be nice if a dish or bottle of ?????? could be brought to pass, however will not be expected.

Please let me know if this date is good for all to attend......

Dave, I'll catch you guys another time, don't worry. We have 10 trips to Pit scheduled between now and Dec, so it's always going to be catch as catch can.

If you move it a week, it will be someone else that can't make it.

we are in.. and the idea for the bouncy is great.. we'd chip in for it.. and we are so close that once the kids get tired or want to go home just a quick shot down RT 30 for us and then right back to your house till end.. by the way, after our party here at the house last saturday night.. i will bring the serbian moonshine...

Not that it is an overwhelming reason to look at moving or changing the date, but The Gateway LX Club Meet-n-Greet was scheduled for that same day in St. Louis.

I'm not sure if any of you were planning on attending that, but that was the latest date that was selected.

I do have a quetion in to Dave if we can change it cause the next weekend is Woodward and i really want to go to that.
IF we can change the St louis Date that would be great im not lookin forward to two weekend in a row of long driving.

O.K., This being the case (Some people not being able to show), why don't we all decide as a band of brothers and sisters on which weekend is best....

Start it this way.....Add your name to every date you would be available to attend. We can make the final judgement call as the time grows near.

Might have to try and make this as well, not to far of a drive and i'm always up for a road trip. Would like to bring the fiance, but if memory serve's me right she has "boards" in August. So she can make her living as a x-ray tech and as my sugar momma :rock:

Working on a new date. There are too many things going on right now. I'd like to say August, however as stated, the St. Louis meet and Woodward Cruise are happening that month. Maybe we'll have to move it to July.....

Roy How about June 25th. The Chicagoland Mopar connections Mopars in the park is in Fox lake at Veteran's Park. It runs 12 to 3pm the evening is all yours.

thats fine with me. i dont think i have anything going on that day. got a grill, pool table, and decent seating- indoors and outdoors. parking on the lot and down the street (Dead end street). for maybe 20? lake front so if anyone wants to go swimming they can. im not taking responsibility if someone drowns though ;)

just keep in mind that the 25th is a sunday and people may not want to stay too late. but we can do a dinner bbq and all is good. fox lake is about an hour from chicago if anyones wondering. im gonna kick everyone out by 8pm though because i got work on monday and i dont feel like driving 2 hours to work in the morning (ie- im not sleeping there overnight)
