Was considering buying them but was curious as to weight of the wheel. They are the American racing wheel RT-S 311's 20x8.5 Blk. Know a few of ya guys got em. Did a search and someone posted they THOUGHT they were 24lbs. I went to discount tire this morning and was told they weighed 39lbs. Dude on the phone supposedly put wheel on a scale and said it weighed that. Wanted to know before laying the buck down. I also couldn't find ARacing's number on their website to call and ask.

If they're 39 lbs., I would be surprised and pissed. Discount Tire told ME that they were 24-25 lbs. after asking AR directly. If you get to the bottom of this, please let us know!!!

I was hoping they didn't weigh too much. 24-25 would be sweet. I will try to see if i can get any info. I don't know if the dude weighed the wheel with the box or what, but unless it's chromed, 40 lbs seems a bit much if ya ask me. Discount lists most of AR's 20's at 31 lbs. These look even lighter than the ones i saw listed. I'm already tired of these stock wheels. Need some more damn black on my ride!!

Maybe, he was actually weighing the new AR RT-S 311's in the new 24 x 10" size? That would seem more logical for 39 lbs.

No, my good buddy works there. And if that were the case, Black on Blacks chain would have to been yanked also, since i think he bought them there. SEE ABOVE POST BY HIM. They actually can get other than listed brands, just have to ask. Thats where i bought my BFG's KDWII's, and they aren't listed for our mags when vehicle is entered on website. Anyway i can get the rims for 179+tax, which is a very good deal.:)

Well your goodyear tires weigh 28 lbs according to tirerack. So the rims weigh 25 lbs if rims and tires weigh 53 like you said HEMI31. Which would jive with what black on black was told that they weigh 24 or 25lbs. I did a search online and found some colorado truck owners have the same wheels. One was emailed the weight of the exact same wheel (rt-s311 20x8.5) and ARacing said it did weigh 25lbs. Kinda sucks though. My buddy talked to a local Warehouse distributor that weighed it as i waited (over the phone). Dude said it was 39 lbs, but he probably weighed the wrong wheel. Now i don't know if i should get em or not???????

Mike,Wheels for Less has them for $193 a piece w/ free shipping. They are lighter than 39lbs,my steel cop wheels are only 30.You won't be disapointed, just don't put a Toyo,or Nitto truck tire on them.

I guess Discount tire was right after all. 39 lbs for it. That + tire will equal a bit too much for me. Guess my search continues!!
