A quick story from today,

We picked up the kids today from Grandma & Grandpa's with the Daytona. We pass a gas station and I see the General Lee! So I swing in and talk to the guy. He is drooling over our charger and we are over the General Lee (69 Charger). So we get talking and here he also has a friend with another General Lee. And they both own a Hazzard County Sheriff's car. I am trying to get them to come out to the Starved Rock Meet. I know it's not a LX, but it's the General Lee! Oh and a Charger. This guy has an album of pics and some awsome storys about the car I will let him tell. I am going to get some Pics of at least one General next to our Daytona, Hopefully both General's, one on each side. I just had to tell the story!!! Every Friday night at 7pm the TV was ours and my parents knew to be quiet or get out of the room when Bo and Luke were on. Oh he also let our 6 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter sit in it. They loved it. Fun day for the family.

Is this the Car. Did the guy say the car was sold by an older lady out from under her husdand. I meet this guy last year at MOPAR'S in the Park in FoxLake. The car is signed and his Dad has a charger too.

He bought it from the son of the owner of Meyer concrete. It was trashed and he restored it. He was saying it was airborn once or twice. He lives less than 1 mile from us.
