If you're saying you didn't remove your rotor clips, it's probably just as simple as that - easy fix! Fingers crossed...

I never remeber even seeing anything like it! Where are they on rotor?

They're round clip fasteners that slide over the wheel studs (usually two per wheel) - meant to hold the rotors in place during assembly from what I hear. Stock wheels have insets machined in to the mounting surface around the stud holes so these clips wont interfere. Aftermarket wheels do not.

I'm feeling a vibration with my Helo 20" with Nitto 420S tires. I have had them rebalanced, but I still get vibration at certain speeds. I'm wondering what is the best way to have tires balanced? I know, with my chrome wheels, I don't want weights on the outside. I've read about Equal, a powder internal balancer. Anybody know about it?
If there is no vibration at 50, why would it show up at 70 and disappear at 90? I'd like to get this vibration resolved.

Tom have your wheels balanced using one of these machines. This is the machine that ACW uses.

Thanks, Ernie. My rotor clips were not removed when my new wheels were installed. They are being removed tomorrow. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'll look for someone locally with the balancing machine you suggested.

I just replaced the stock tires with Toyo Proxes S/T 255-55-18, today I had the shakes between about 55-75 mph. Steering wheel shakes. It went away as I took it up to 90.
Does this sound like a tire balancing problem? Still have the stock rims, so I know the clips aren't the problem.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
