The part that concerns me is "remanufactured" which could be anthing from a few minor scuffs cleaned out, to major damage, repaired, polished and refinished.

Ummmm guys??

The part that concerns ME is where is says replica.

These wheels are "fishy" at best. If you do a search on the brand name, "Transwheel", you can find the site that started this thread, BUT you also find this site linked here. (http://performance.speedycarparts.com/transwheel~wheel~wheel_accessories~pn.html)

If you read the description there, you find this:Original Replica Wheel Steel Original Equipment Replicaduction

You tell me. What is a Replicaduction??? ROFL!

Buyer beware!

$291 is for painted silver... prices are the same for both vehicles...

I don't know what replicaproduction is either...

maybe the wheels are so cheap because they saved money on spell check...

They're usually copies made in China. Often, the supplier to an OEM will produce more than what was ordered and sell them on the side. They are often excellent quality.

"Original Replica." Either it's an original....or it's a replica! Which is it? Why can't I click on the small pic of the wheel for an enlarged look, so I can have a really good look? Something smells fishy about this little deal!

Looks like they just used Vaderwagon's Avatar. They have the brake behind the wheel. Least they could do is take a pic of their own shi*!! Unless Vaderwagon has something to do with it.:)
