Some 3mm hubcentric wheel spacers. I just installed my 22" wheels with 265/35 tires and found that the tire is rubbing on the control arm. I have read about others having to buy spacers but I can't find the source for these peices. Has anyone had the control arm grinded down a little bit?
Thanks,
Marcus

Depending upon how much it would have to be ground down, that may be your better option. Spacers cause numerous problems even if they work "properly" for what you need. Most significant is the fact they put much more stress on the lugs and, coupled with the extra stress caused by heavier wheels, it can be somewhat dangerous to use them.

The tire shop I had mount my 20's for me refuses to use them under any circumstance. Look for others to chime in on this, too.

What is the offset, bolt pattern and hubcenter bore of your wheels? That could help determine what to do next.

If these wheels have between a 12-20mm offset, they shouldn't be rubbing. If they were drilled with too high of an offset, then go to a wheel shop that specializes in wheel modifications and have a plate welded into the wheel face, which has the effect of lowering offset again..

Ressurecting an old thread...

Are these still holding up for you?

Why did you get some for the rear?
