I noticed the brake pads on our magnum rt were glued to the caliper. When I looked in the service manual on brake pad replacement, no mention of glue. Does anyone know what DC uses to glue the pads? I am now getting a slight squeek in the morning and I'm sure its because the pads are not tight. Thanks guys... :thumbs_u:

Uh... don't worry about the glue, the pads come glued to the backing plate when you buy them... that 1/8" thick piece of steel on the back of the pad is a part of the pad, not the caliper!

I realize that, I did not make myself clear, sorry. What I am saying is that the shim on back of the pad was "glued" to the caliper. New pads have the shim on them, I just want to reglue the pad/shim assembly like it was when it left the factory.
