I had mine shipped to a forum member in the USA and drove down to pick it up when I was in the neighbourhood. Probably cost me $40 in gas though!!!!

Mine was sitting at my back door.. Full value was declared on the box too. No tax, no duty, no brokerage.. Did yours come USPS or UPS?

UPS would have hosed you.. USPS is a 50/50 whether they will let it go as a gift..
