Mopars in the Park 2006 show is scheduled for Saturday June 3 and Sunday June 4.

Raceway Park info about the event (http://goracewaypark.com/index4.htm)
I am not affiliated with them, though I do intend to attend at least saturday (still contemplating to enter my car), I thought I'd just throw this out there since there seems to be a few Minnesotans in the area.

Went, saw, was underwhelmed.
I lasted only about an hour and took off. There were a few really nice cars, but 80% were NOT show-worthy. Most every car there was dirty and not well kept. One guy had a nice blower sticking up out of the hood... and oil dripping down all over his motor.
Dissapointing event IMO.

On another note...
Only a handful of new model cars were there. About 8 Vipers, 2 Charger SRT8's, and one Magnum SE that was on display by a salvage company. it was wrecked (pics) and they brought it back to life with a decent looking paint job. No mods to speak of though.
A dealership was out there with the whole range of LX's including Charger, Magnum, and 300 SRT8s, and they also had a TorRed Charger Daytona.

I got there around 11:30, there were about 15 Vipers. The dealer bandit mentioned had 2 torRed Daytona's (and I still don't like that color, too many red cars on the road already), they also had a mag, 300 and charger SRT. Many of the "high dollar" were pulling in when I got there. Couple of nice '70 Super Birds and two '69 Daytona's and about 7 Super Bee's (with the lift-off hoods). Some cars that were kinda stupid - a 1991 Dodge Spirit with rear suicide doors painted orange, a '97 Avenger with verticle doors (cheap, non LSD kit) but this car actually looked some what good. Some pretty nice trucks. I mostly went for the swap meet, found some parts for my buddies '65 coronet.
As far as not show worthy, most of the cars there are daily drivers in the summer, and like most local mopar shows - NO TRAILER QUEENS...

(this was on one of the vipers, it was a '96 with over 100K miles!! )

I can dig that, daily drivers and all... but DAMN, wash the car, spit on a paper towel and wipe... SOMETHING for a show.
I noticed many cars had junk piled up in the backseats. Old magazines, soda cans, random junk.
