Took my Magnum in for service yesterday...Great job by my dealer...hubby has a old friend who is a salesman there and we got to talking and they are adding names to the list for the Challenger. Got mine on, I'm number 5. Don't know if it will do me any good but hey it felt great to know maybe I can get one when they come out. Has anyone else gotten on a list at thier dealer?

Nothing official yet. My dealer also has a pre-list list and I jumped on it too. I'm #2. #1 is the owner of the dealership. :lol:

Hey - the wife wont mind - I'll just give the Magnum (back) to her. In the end it'll boil down to a matter of financial priorities, '8R. I'm sure my daughter will do fine at a community college... :lol:

I wonder if enough lists are generated across the country if this will help Dodge decide to actually produce the car. My dealer does not have a pre-list running, but they already know I'm the 1st one they call if/when it comes out. I will own one.

The tough decision for me is to

1) Buy right away then play hell to trade it up less than a year later for the SRT version. I did this already this year with the Magnums and it wasn't as stress free as I would have liked.

2) Watch everyone else get their and rave about them as I await the SRT.

Decisions, decisions!

Here in HI, I have never heard of a waiting list yet....but if ther is one, youll bet ill be getting on that list soon!

i would rather special order mine than get on a list just to buy whatever the dealer get in. if you really want to be first to get one, special order one. these cars are consided sold and take build priority.

i got the first 2006 magnum this way and it was built especially for me.
