My three year old decided she wanted to decorate the carpet under the drivers seat with chocolate milk. Besides the stain in smells like someone puked in my car. I need a lead on new carpet. If any of you know of a good dealer or an aftermarket dealer, please let me know. I'm also looking for the DVD player that goes on top of the center console.

steam cleaner? There are cleansers out there that are gentle on cloth/fabric/carpet materials and strong on organic matter and eat it up... I'd bet with a little elbow grease and a good steam cleaner it'd be cleaned up.

Have you checked with any local detailing services? They might be cheaper than new carpet. (Besides, you'd have to clean the floorboards under the carpet anyway...a good steam cleaner vacuum will clean the carpet and floorboards at the same time.

Thoughts?

Bummer, Kids will be Kids!!
I have a Hoover Steam Vac with small attachments to get that for you, bring it on by!! Works on NASTY stains really good!
LOL, I have to do the high traffic areas monthly with my 11 year old and my Great Dane!! That's in my House though.....

I agree. In fact, i would go a step further and say that all you need is a good scrubbing, rinse, and suck up the moisture with shop vac.

I had a gallon of milk drop out of the back of my Durango and on to my concrete driveway. It burst open. If you don't spray it off right away there will be milk stains on concrete if you can believe it.

This technique works great. Had a 2 liter bottle of soda burst open on a sharp edge underneath the seat of my RAM. Befrore I could pull over and do anything about it, about half of it had drained in to the carpet. When I got home, I sopped up what I could with a towel, rinsed and vac'd twice. Good as new!

Find a detailer with a carpet extractor you will probably have to take seat out to get to it

Contact Mopar for the rear seat video system (granted, it will be expensive - however, you'll get the stock system offered on the current LX models).

Sorry to hear about the milk. I've been in the same boat as you when my son decided to drop a bowl of chocolate ice cream in the back of my LHS, and not tell his mother until they got home. By then, the ice cream was just a pool of muddy, sticky good on the (thankfully) rubber floor mats.

Hey, 67, my wife raised an eyebrow at the orange shag!!! If I still had the 71 300, I'd take it. With the chain steering wheel, polyester seat covers and the 8track blairing Moley Hatchets "Radar Love" I'd be hip to the groove, baby!!!
