1:5 SRT remote cars on sale

I know some people are in collecting. WalMart has their 1:5 scale 300C on sale for $75. They have big ol side stickers that say SRT.
If they would have had the Mag in that size I would have gotten it. That is one HUGE car.

I got an Inferno Red 1:5 Magnum for Xmas... The finish and detail work on them is not the best, but I am super picky. I use to build custom RC cars and trucks to the tune of $3k-$6k.

I am serriously thinking about taking the body off of my 1:5 and making a custom RC car with some real speed... perhaps a nitro car with a chain driven three speed.

I agree.....I keep hearing about this 1:5 scales but havent been able to see them yet...

I have yet to see the big Mag yet. Only 300C's. I will own it as soon as I do though.

I got the red 1:5 Mag for Xmas. It is cool. I had an old 128mb mp3 player laying around and installed it in there with some good driving tunes. I've been a bit lazy. A good buddy of mine owns a body shop and he's gonna paint it MagPearl for me once I drop it off. My wife made that as a part of the deal when she got it for me. Although I hear I can get a 5oz spray can of the paint from my dealer so I may just do it myself. Would be nice to have an official "body-off" job done by a pro though.

Oh yeah I have the 1:6 scale, things awesome!!! You can even have to turn it on! Has working brakelights and turn signals

FYI, during Christmas, Target was selling them for $49.99 but they were out of stock when I got there. They had the two-tone 300C SRT-8 from that one european race... I forget the name...

I thought it was from the Targa race in Newfoundland Canada.

Anyway, something that is bothering me about this thread. This car is not on SALE it is on CLEARANCE. That means the longer you can hold out, the cheaper it is gonna get. My trigger point is fifty bucks.
