It's ram air man... That gasket seals to a cavity in the hood that channels air from those beautiful scoops... It's a good thing! :thumbs_u:

so the air goes into the scoops at the back of the hood and then moves to the front of the car? i thought the scoops of ramair usually went front to back?

Even though the air path is not "optimal" (air has to move back to front), forward motion of the car still increases the pressure of the air in that cavity and the induction path creating a forced induction effect... I think the setup on the current GTO is similar...

Got the hood shot on mine now, very sweet. Im definatly going to look into this as my 2nd car! First one is a 4 door ( Charger R/T ) By then I'll want a 2 door:grin:
