Judgin by the pics shown in the link below I'd say yes it is!

http://forums.autoweek.com/thread.jspa?forumID=31&threadID=25284&tstart=0

The G-Tech style gauge giving you 1/4mile and 0-60 times plus alot of other neat stuff. Great looking interior combined with the Muscle car looks on the outside. Big wheels with serious looking brakes hiding behind them. And the most important thing is the all mighty Hemi!

As long as the keep the price reasonable, it's gonna big the "next big thing"

Still think it would look good with a "go wing' style or "TA" style spoiler and a chin spoiler.

Am I the only one that doesnt really like the full length tail light??

Everything else is awesome and I still would love to have this car in the future...but that tail light...is that even legal - one big tail light?? I donno, just thinking aloud I guess.

I was noticing some of the posts on that forum, and some were whining about the front bumper not being U.S. legal, and wouldn't look like that, once in production. What the muck. I've got a big piece of plastic, wrapping the front of my Magnum and Charger for a bumper. What's the difference? Am I missing something? Can any of you saavy folks shed some light?
BTW.....I like the one piece tail-light.

:p

I was reading that about the bumper too...I could have sworn I have seen cars with non-obtrusive bumpers though...I thought it was just that it can support a "bump" impact, cant they just beef up the material there?

I donno....thinking aloud again

I think it looks pretty wicked. I was never lucky enough to drive the original CHallengers but I would say if the split the rear taillight into two, leaving room for the plate in between it would be pretty nice. All they need to do is make some of the creature comforts a bit better(automatic a/c vice Blue to Red dots) and I would without a doubt be sold....what am I saying, I already am.

Here we go again!

I had sworn off of anything Dodge because of the poor dealership service.....but I am telling you right now, they build this challenger the way it looks here...and you bet one with the 425 hp will be sitting in my driveway pretty quickly! Awesome vehicle! Perfect design all around......

Since it is an LY not an LX will I still qualify to be here on LXforum.com?

Is someone thinking about coming back to the dark side? I hope we would still be welcome. Maybe they could change the forum to "LXLYForums."

I LOVE the taillights. very reminiscent of my once 70 R/T Challenger in Hemi Orange. Just needs the reverse light in the middle.

I do hope that that stereo/climate control doesn't make production, I mean it does look great and all, but it would make swaping out the crappy factory stereo for an after market one imposible, or at very least extremely dificult.

The bumper would be like the old GTO "Enduro" bumper

Ooops, some of you weren't even born then!

Just needs the reverse light in the middle.

Almost forgot about that one...and I guess turning signals will be the respective side lighting maybe??

I can't believe the same company that designed this magnificent car also designed the Imperial. Or does that tell us all we need to know about the mindsets in the Pacifica CA vs. Auburn Hills MI design groups?

I look at the Challenger and I am speechless. I look at the Imperial and I am also speechless. I mean, it looks like something Eugene Levy would sell to Chevy Chase.

Matt- That same exact thought crossed my mind when I saw the Imperial.
