Yeah I thought it would give the 300 a little different look.

To hard to give an honest opinion. The picture is too jagged making the paint job look bad. Maybe a higher res picture?

If you are viewing it in IE, click on the box at the bottom right hand corner, it will make the pic fullsize...
If you are using Firefox, just click on the picture and it will make it fullsize.
The resolution is pretty good once you see them without your browser down-sizing them.

Thanks for the tip DMAG.
Work itself looks great, like the concept and how it follows the line flow but maybe too subtle for me for having gone through all that work.

Personal opinion... The darkened tails with the painted sides in silver don't do anything for me. On the other hand, I might like the painted sides with no change to the OEM tails. Got any pictures like that Ernie? Also, I think I'd like the painted side better if it had more of an angled break instead of the curve down. For example... I think it would look sharper if it had an angle that matched more of the reverse angle of the body line that goes down the front and then transitions to go around the rear bumper. Am I making sense?

Ernie
do/can you do more of detailed design or is that more detailed and tedious/time consuming/higher priced then what you want too address at this time?

When I started painting the tails for the Charger, Magnum and now the 300 I try to enhanced the body lines the designers gave them. On the 300 I used the body line in the tail lamp that extends from the quarter panel into the bumper. I don't see any other way to do that lamp. You can't paint the area where the light shines through that would really be bad. Dave what were you thinking?

I was thinking taking a stencil design of whatever..say a rams head, the 3d type were there open areas of background around and inside the design. Apply the stencial, paint of tint over the entire light, then peel off the stencil leaving your full design on the light.
It would be almost like the designed pieces you buy and bolt over your tail lights but here you are actually painting that design on.

Yeah I had already thought about that. I don't know how well it would work on a Magnum though. I think it would work well on a Charger since the face of the tail lamp is more vertical than the Magnum's.

So it wasn't a no. The rest are just minor details.

It shouldn't be a big deal. The hardest part is making the stencil. On the Magnum it would probably look better if it was placed over the turn signal cause it would be a more direct on view.
I think they're excellent and you've captured the natural lines of the car perfectly.

I like the effect, Ernie.
Here is another variation on the theme that we did on my 300C. We used matching body paint (Brilliant Black Pearl) cut down. We blended the edges of the lens to the body all round, then faded the tint towards the middle of the lens. Here are some pics of the result:

Yeah I been wanting to experiment with a set for a while. No customers wanted to take a chance on something they couldn't see so I figured I would do up a set for pictures that I could add to my website. I had the rental for my visiting mother in law so I figured what the hell. Theres going to be a certain amount of people that hate it and ones that love it. I just thought I'd put it out there as a different option for the 300 owners. Something that the guy next to you at a show may not have. Thats whats its all about and thats what ACW is about also. As far as the Maggies I was going to experiment with relocating the brake lite lower on the lamp so I could paint the upper portion bodycolor. I always that that would look cool! I guess that I'll have to add that to my ever expanding list of things to do! LOL.

Ernie,
Here is how a friend did mine. Combination of Brilliant Black, light tint and clear. My idea was to make the tail light look smaller.
