OK I have a complete TVS coming ( Thanks Josh at HHP ! ) and I am going to attempt the install myself. What I need to know are the gotchas.

I have a lift and all the tools needed. I have stands etc.

For those that have installed Springs and Swaybars any suggestions ? Something else I should pikc up and do while I am under that car doing this ?

I know I need 2 rear shocks as i have the towing package. Humm Gotta wonder about SRT Shocks........

As I do this I will be taking pictures, I am just hoping they can leave the rack open all day for me :) The Alignment after is going to suck I think. What are the known issues with drops and alignment ?

thanks

Keep use posted. I would like to do the same mod to my R/T in the spring. Keep the beast settled to the ground around the sweepers. The stock set up with the conti's just leaves little confidence in the car handling.

I might install mine this weekend, depends on how "busy" we are...

I just did the sway bar install today, very simple even doing the install alone.

The rear springs, which were the PITA when installing just them alone, are really easy with the cradle dropped.

Just follow the very detailed instructions and you'll do fine.

How long was the whole install time wise? Just trying to gauge the time needed to finish the job.

With air tools, (which really help) I think I was on the drive way 2 hours start to finish. It is a lot easier than the instructions make it look. I almost took it to a shop prior to making the call to do it myself, very gald I did.

I do need to get a 4 wheel alignment now though.

Installing the whole system - sway bars and springs, front and back, takes about 4 hours including alignment. The instructions that come with the set are pretty good. I'll be posting a complete review of the install, things to watch for, inc. pix, late tonight if I get through the other nonsense that's piled up over the break.

Well OzzieGuy had his installed last Friday and I'm having mine installed tomorrow. The install will include the 4 wheel alignment.

We both got the full TVS system.

Are there any plans for a complete TVS getting developed for the AWD?

On the Hotchkis TVS install do they give new alignment specs or can the front end be adjusted back to spec? I just got a deal on a TVS kit for my Magnum and want to make sure I have everything I need to complete the install and alignment. Does anyone know of any new camber adjusting kits for the LX cars?

I can wait a couple of months for Bilstein to release the shocks for the LX cars.

There were no separate settings for the Magnum. Cory Bedortha has a few minor adjustments he makes. Read his comments about the install, and call him about this for more info. http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?p=199344#post199344

I'd be concerned about camber with lowering springs...you guys with this stuff installed, all good with realistic camber?
