I would think that with a 29.1 diameter and 10 inch width, they would be rubbing against the steering kunckle bar behind the tire, back under that bolt.
Those stock 18" wheels have a 24mm offset. And those BFG's look REALLY fat.
No issues?

Nah, I am running 255/55 18's (Toyo Proxes ST) with no issues. There is plenty of room above the tires and below the knuckle. The knuckle is on the outer edge of the tire so expansion under speed is not an issue. I have testing the speed limiter with the tires and had no rubbing.

I am running BFG KDW2's (in the summer).

Clearance is fine. Might get a pinkie finger in there.

The real test is running a road circuit at high speeds. I ran a full day of performance lapping at LeCircuit Mont Tremblant early in October.

Tire pressures were set to 44 lbs psi cold and were higher hot. The tires never rubbed at any point.

The handling with these tires is awesome! They also deliver a very comfortable ride.

The BFG KDW in 255/55/18 are a bit closer than pictured. The real tight clearance is the vertical portion of the steering arm, I measured .180" on mine!!
No rubbing, hang on though, they really corner, add about .4 G's to what the Conti's do in a corner!!
