I know I'm kind of a newbie here but already I'm jealous of all the meet n greets the guys in the south host. The States seems to have all the fun, from go fast goodies to meet n greets. Well, I'm interested in hearing form my fellow Canadian members. I know its late in 2005 but come April or May of 2006 I'd like for us fellow southern Ontario members to join in the fun and have a lil get together of ourselves. Just a lil something to contribute to our U.S Family of LX'rs. I'd like a show of hands who would be willing to attend and if the numbers are right I'll do my best to organize something for next year. Anyone ofcourse is invited to attend but my inital thoughts are to have the meet anywhere between Niagra falls and Toronto area. Hopefully I will be hearing from many. Ohh... and any tips and advice from the guys who have put on a meet n greet before will be greatly appreciated. Just continue this thread with your LX name and where your from :

Sounds like fun, but it's a 7000 km round trip from here so I dont think I will attend. Why don't you have it over here... I have a big yard.... lol.

Hey we met in Brampton, Ontario back in August and toured the plant and I was there. Sorry you missed it. Getting in there was a lot of work. Don't know if we could do it again, maybe next year one of you hosers could give it a try. ;) ;)
Yeah the plant tour was awesome. I'd do that again in a second if they allowed it.
But whatever, even wine country would be nice, and it's closer to the border to make it easier for our upstate NY, PA, OH friends.

Gotta echo the great things already said about the plant tour.
That being said I'm in.
I also think we should get something together this winter, so we could put together some pics and video with some real snow.

HA HA HA nice, I remebmer that army thing, but at the same time the Toronto mayor was really smart, he got free snow removal, which would have cost his city a couple hundred thousand bucks to clean up (or $2.34 USD).
They get plenty of snow in the Niagara region, or out where Nightshade72 and CDN_Magnum live.

Hi everybody!!!
I havent had time to let you all know we took delivery of our Mag R/T
a couple of weeks ago. I too have been on the edge of my seat watching hammer and all meet and pick-up the charger (Absolutly excellent job everybody!!!)
Unlike our So-Cal bretheren we have some unique enviromental qualities that would leave most of the members here digging out there rides before the 46th paralel.
I think we need to consider an LX (WINTER SNOW EVENT)
Quebec city carnival, or ski and meet. How about a winter rally or hill climb!! (i think i need to get out more often)
I recently moved from Toronto Ont. to Frederiton New Brunswick. A snow storm the size they get in T.O wouldnt bring out the plows here.
I can wake up to 3+ feet of snow I would like to see you try that with your contis...or 22s
ya my first mod was cop car rims and snow tires, (conti 790s 18/225/60) and slush mats all around wo hoo!!
I will post some pics with steel rims and snows on Wed.
Cheers
Lance.
