Who wants the Mopar/Borla Exhaust?? [Archive] - LX Forums Modern Mopar Muscle

I sent an email to our friends at MoparSupercenter to see if they would be willing to host a group buy on the Mopar/Borla catback system for our V6 Magnums. (I know it fits on the SXT, not sure either way about the SE).

This is the system that NC-SXT put on his ride and it looks great, single muffler, dual tails. Check out his thread here. (http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=19508) MPSC currently has the exhaust for $413.70, but they are willing to get us a group buy price if we get just 5 people!!!! They'll work on the price once we get 5 interested parties but we know it will be lower than $413

I'm only working on trying to get better pricing for the SXT since that's what I have. There have been countless group buys for R/T exhaust systems so I didn't figure I needed to get wrapped up in that.

I can't believe that I'm the only on interested in this for the V6. Not looking for a commitment to purchase here, just looking for those that are interested in this exhaust and that MAY participate in a group buy if we get a deal. Please chime in if you're interested in this for your V6. After we get 5 or more names Jeff will be able to get us a price. Then after the price is set we'll do a signup for the actual group buy.

That was a package that included Sunroof,6disk mp3 player, sirius radio,Ba speakers,276 watt amp and Rear cargo organizer.

I am interested in this as well but would depend on the price and time frame of buying.. I will post my ebay crap tonight so I can hopefully have enough money to get these by the time of the group buy. I am a 75% buy in.. I dont see me not being able to do it but it is also christmas time so I dont want to say 100% yet. I also am still poundering the Zoomers. Do you get more HP gains with the Zoomers or is it close with the Mopar kit.. I would like to have the mopar version just do to price.. I think the Zoomers are like 800 or 900 bucks. I cant see that..
keep me posted I will most likely be down with some MOPAR DUALS.

Is there any deadline on this group buy? How do these group buys work? Do you not ship the items until everyone has paid? rookie to group buys can someone explain how this all works?

How the group buy works.

Once we have 5 confirmed payments arrangements, we will place the order with Chrysler. Since this will be a volume order to reduce our cost, we must do this in this manner, otherwise we will end up with more money in the kit than we are selling it for. We will not bill the kits until they ship from our location to the customer, in other words, we do not hold on to your money while your waiting for us to receive the product. Your payment arrangement is billed the same day it ships to you. If by some chance a buyer backs out before we place the volume order, we will contact everyone on the list if there is any pricing differences. Our shipping will be actual shipping charges derrived from FedEx.com web site, and will be fully insured. Based on current stock levels, current delivery time to us would be 4 working days from date order is placed.

We can do this for more than 5, as long as the order is done at the same time. If anyone else wants to jump in on this, now is the time. We could hold off the order until next Friday, and if anyone else want to join in, it would be the perfect time to do so.

I think I am out on this buy.> friday isnt going to give me enough time to get the cash I need.. Plus i am still debating on the Zoomers. I was thinking more end of the month. So I guess there is one spot still open.

Friday was just an example, not a definite date, as we have no confirmed orders in as we speak. We will begin posting a list of confirmed orders with payment arrangements, once the list reaches 5, then we have achieved the qualifying level. We will then post a closing date, as we do not want to keep the confirmed people waiting any longer than they must.

can someone give me a link of the for sale page on the net for this system? Like the specifications.. I couldnt find it on the Mopar Supercenter site.. I just want to go over the tubing and setup on this.

I am thinking I will have my order processed next wednesday or Thursday when the Fiance gets paid.. I got the go ahead last night to get them for my Birthday which is on the 5th.. You know you are marrying a good girl when she will buy you exhaust for your car. I might have to take the 5th off and install them over some ice cold beers. (-:

Also is this an install you can do with jack stands and a jack. I assume you could get the car high enough to do the install. Any thoughts?

Why dont I drive down to Pittsburg and you install mine too haha.. I am kidding.. I do need to be looking at getting some Jack Stands and a nice jack.. Hell I need them anyway.
