So last month I was pulled over and cited for "allegedly" street racing, speeding, and passing on a double yellow. I was "clocked" at 55mph in a 35 in a village(not a town) about 30 minutes from my house. I followed another car around a stopped van and was immediatley pulled over. It took 30 minutes to recieve the citation. My driving record isn't the greatest and my insurance is already sky high-it doesn't help when your last car burned to the ground. Hopefully I'll keep my license. I need it to get to the track!
Did the insurance go up a lot after the fire? Was it deemed "your fault" in any way? Although it was a significant $$$ loss, it's not like you caused it...
Hope it works out!!

ahhh.... plead quilty, then punch the judge in the throat, then jump onto the prosectutors table and pee on his briefcase while yelling "you're out of order, you're out of order", then break into song singing the theme to Sesame Street.
It'll work trust me, they'll deem you insane, drop all charges, you may get a few days in a psych ward... but hey a free day away from the family, all the pudding you can eat. You get to wear an open robe and fuzzy slippers. It won't go against the driving record or your licence!!

I see an acute case of lead poisoning in his future if he takes that route......or a severe tasering....

Didn't go too bad. Got it down to a speeding ticket but had to pay $400 in fines plus the $1,000 for the lawyer. It ate into my mod money! Apparently the guy who went around the same car is a foreign exchange student. Go figure

Eat the Vaseline, the cake makes a great lube. Atleast it's naptime for the car.

So did they tell you what you were supposed to do about a stopped van in the road?
Just wait till he decides to move?
Was the van ticketed as well?
"thank you your honour, by the way i'm peeing in your breafcase in my mind"

Apparently you can't go around a stopped vehicle on a double yellow. The judge told me I was lucky to get off so easy.
