Just added Mopar Lowering Springs and as I was leaving work tonight I realized I need another 1/2" drop on the front...........any way to do this without NEW springs???

From what I have read on here, it is quite commonplace to chop off 1/2" from the front coils to achieve this.

I always wondered Would cutting the coils screw up the integrity of the springs ????

If you "have" to cut a coil try and use as little heat as possible (i.e. NO torch) Something like a sawzall or a cutting wheel on a grinder. It won't screw up the structural integrity of the spring, the spring rate could change a slight bit due to the overall length being shorter.

take out rubber isolators on top of the springs
good write up here

also i would give the springs a week or two to settle

If you just installed them, give them some time to settle...They might drop a little more...

They removed the rear isolators. I don't think you can remove the front. The rears have a "pocket" for the springs to sit in. The fronts don't. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I am currently running no isolators on my car with SRT suspension. The springs on the front seat fine against the upper plate and lower plate on the strut.
I have had no extra noise or discomfort in the car, it all seems good to me? :)
