Ok people, Im going to say thanks in advance to any help I can get.

I got a 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring 3.5L V6 with 60,000 KMS (37,500 miles)

It is completely stock, older gentleman drove it... And have a couple of questions.

I know for a fact he has taken care of the car by following the maintenance schedule and doing the o-ring TSB, but lets just (worst case scenario) assume he has not, is there any recommendations from y'all regarding what needs to be done at this stage of life for the car? I just want to be sure everything is covered so I know what has to be done. Also any recommendations on mods to add that are worthwhile?

Also this may be a weird question but the past owner was a smoker, anyone know of a way to get the smell of cigars/cigarettes out of the car?

And anything I missed out that you think might be helpful please fire away!

Thanks and thanks again :not_worth

I'm not sure about the mechanical workings and all in regards to your mileage, but make sure that your tie-rods are in ok shape. Mine were replaced when I got my 06 Heritage Edition with 22k miles on it.

For worthwhile mods... getting a Diablosport Predator is a big one. While they are famous for their 5.7/6.1 tuners, the 3.5 does exist as well. For just over $350 USD, you get access to the most options tuning-wise that could be done to your car. Plus being able to see and read error codes is a positive as well.

As far as the smoke on the interior, I'd say go all out with Febreeze (or is it Febreze, I forget). The Febreeze was a major difference maker for me when I had a roommate who smoked in college. If your interior has the leather options, get some leather cleaner and conditioner made by Lexol. Really good stuff and should, over time, rejuvenate the leather to it's non-smoked state.

Hope this helps!

I thought the o-ring deal with the transmission was only on the NAG1 5 speed. Unless your 06 3.5 is a late build, it's got the 42LE 4 speed.

try an air sponge for the smoke. I heard those work great for getting smoke smells out
