View Full Version : Today, I cursed for the first time in 2009, and I am still angry.

Those of you who know me well know that I do not curse. To all of your surprise, I do curse, but I only do it to people who cannot understand my words if I talk otherwise.

Today, I was at a Radio Shack shopping for some electronics. A guy who works there complimented on my 2008 Dodge Charger and how it resembles a police car. I respectfully thanked him for his compliments. He continued to ask me if I am a police officer, and I said no, without going any further. I went on to show him my Batman emblems all around the car and explained to him that since it's an AWD with modified suspension, I don't even need to slow down to corner, making it a even better Batmobile than in the movies. He then asked me if I have spike dispenser inside the rear bumper. I went on to asked him what it was for. He said if I get chased by the police, I can deploy the spikes to teach those stupxd cops a lesson. That was all it took to get me through the roof. I said, "What the fxxk is wrong with you. Why would you do something like that to a cop just because he is doing his job? Cops are humans too, and at the end of the day, they have families waiting for them to go home and eat and play together. It's just that they have CHOSEN a job that is different than most people, a job that requires them to fight through all the traffic there is to get to where you are, and put their lives on the line to save fxxking idiots like you when you get robbed, or get run over by a drunk driver, etc. and call 911. They don't even know who the fxxk you are, or what you do, but yet they are willing to risk their lives everyday to save fxxking idiots like you, and you want to spike them for catching you running a red light or flying down the road not caring for safety of other people. When you complimented my car, I appreciated it, but now, just one minute later, I have no fxxking respect for you at all. I don't even want to talk to your fxxk face anymore. As a matter of fact, I am taking my business elsewhere and I hope I don't see you again."

That guy was shocked and started muttering something, but I did not want to listen and just walked out the door. I was so angry, I can feel my face red hot. Man, I was mad.

It's good you told him to his face, now he can ponder on what an idiotic mindset he really has. You can bet if his store was robbed they would be the first ones he'd call.

Good For you Anthony!

More people need to stand up to the boneheads around us - the world might be a better place!

..and I've met Anthony and it's true, I never heard him swear once!

...Was he serious, or was he still on a Batman kick dreaming up some crazy James Bond-esque toy that you might have? If he was serious, he deserved all that and more.

It certainly sounds like something along the Batman lines.....I only know a few people with rear bumper spike dispensers;) BTW, everyone decided the front bumper spike dispensers were a little problematic.

Serious or not, this is not something a normal minded person should even think about unless he is making a movie. His tone tells me that he hates cops. The minute I told him I was not one, he started talking about how he got pulled over one time and how he got an unfair ticket and how he believe that cops set up a speeding trap to raise money, that kind of BS. He looks like he is in his early 20's. Very immature and very selfish. He lives in his own little world.

He is a blow hard. He was watching MI2 over the weekend and thinks he is Tom Cruise. I call the BS flag on the guy.

It's too bad that you find it so difficult to express yourself honestly and openly.

Should have told him that hopefully someone does that when they are en route to save his ass from someone holding him up at gun point.

As a police officer it saddens me to see the mindset of so many. I'm 27 but growing up I held the utmost respect for police officers, when I got a ticket...I earned it. That's still my motto today. I do my best to set an example through my actions for the community...on duty or off because I know how we are viewed.

It's unfortunate that there are people who come into this career and do things to give us that name and unfortunate that our society feeds off the bad media and labels us all as "bad".

You know there are good cops and bad cops. Maybe he had problems with a bad cop. Good that you spoke your mind and told him where it is at. Maybe next time he gets in trouble (because it seems like he will) he'll keep a level head and have a better cop experience.

i used to work at radio shack.... there are some idiots that work there.

this girl that worked with me was talking to a guy about LCD TV's... she then told him, "you should avoid anything that say liquid crystal, because they dont have as good of a picture of the LCD. LCD TV's use millions of mirrors to get the best picture"

i walked up and told her, "LCD means Liquid Crystal Display, and that DLP TV's are the ones that use mirrors but also use a processor to project the image. Hince Digital Light Processing for DLP" While she was talking to the customer.

But to the guy to talked to's defense: Batman did run from the cops?

way to stand up to him, Anthony. some people don't realize they're idiots until you tell them.
