I saw some snow tires on Craigslist and was wondering if they would fit on stock R/T rims. Anyone know???
Front set - 225/40R18 Blackwall
Rear set - 245/45R18 Blackwall
Thanks......Brad

stock tire size is approximately 28 1/2" tall
the larger of those tires you posted is 26.68"
You'd be dropping the car about an inch and there is the issue of the speedo calibration being significantly off.
here's a tire size calculator to help you figure out if come across any other sizes

A little short in the sidewall area; and they will look funny in the wheelwell opening. Check tire rack for an OEM size winter tire.
225/60-18 (factory 18" tire)
235/55-18 (factory '06-'07? Daytona, R&T tires)
I run a set of Blizzak Dmz3 in the 235/60-18 size with no issues on my factory RT wheels. They work much better than the Pirelli Ice & Snow tires I had previously.

Thanks for all the input. They were on Craigslist for $450 with less than 500 miles on them. Guess I'll have to pass and hunt for something else.....

I know a lot of folks like the Winterforce snow tires, $75 at Tire Rack, I think. I ran General Grabber UHP's in 255/55/18" size thru the last 2 Maine winters from hell, better than the Pirellis also. In fact, I pulled an AWD Subaru wagon out of the ditch last winter with them.:)
