Lol so i was joking around flipping off the camera and I really got flashed... I think the photos worth the ticket but I think my speedometer is off. I got flashed twice on the way home from Cali, both in a 65 zone where I believe my speedometer was reading about 70.. both the tickets were cited at 77 mph. I'll be going in monday to get it calibrated and I just thought I'd share!

Yeah. my speedo reads about 2% slow compared to my aftermarket GPS- and that's with the stock (225/60HR18) size tires on it. No biggy around town, but something to be aware on the interstate. Most cars actually are off a little at the speedometer, but my experience has been that they tend to read a bit faster thn you're actually going. This is the first car I've ever had that's actually pessimistic about it's speed.

As said above, my speedo does the same. At highway/freeway speeds my speedo and GPS can typically have a 3-5KPH difference, with the speedo being the lower of the two.

That's interesting, mine always read slower.. but then again the last car I had was a Jeep wrangler with 35's and I was reading 85 on my speedo when I got pulled over i was clocked doing 97 :) oops! lol

Hey,
You need to do like the guys on Top Gear did and make a life size picture of your govenor Arnold, and everytime you go through those photo radars, just put his face in front of yours...

I think if you go and get your car dyno'd, and they can prove that your speedometer was incorrect by several miles per hour, you can get out of your ticket. I knew someone who got away with several that way.
