When I attended the LX Nationals there were less than a dozen 300's there and at the Mopar Nationals last week I saw 2! Where are all the 300's. Chrysler produced them for 20 or so years, there are an awful lot of them out there so where are they? I would love to go to a car show that had lot's of 300's from all eras - any ideas????

all the "old guys" (people that have no intrest in moding or showing) are driving them. and i think that it also dosent help that there isnt as much aftermarket stuff out there as there is for the charger and magnum.

If you look at car domain there are THOUSANDS of modern modded 300's and there have to be tens of thousands of classic 300's. You just don't see them anywhere - I thought for sure the Mopar Nationals would bring them out but not so much. If anyone has been to a car show that had more than a few 300's I would love to know where it was.

Yep - the good news is that if you have a 300 at a car show you've got less competition! I went to the Southeast Shindig, where we were outnumbered as well.
I wonder if Chryslers at Carlisle might have at least more of the old 300s? I'd love to see some, too.

i still see way more magnums than 300s on the streets around these parts.

Remember the main demographic of the 300 buyer does not include many enthusiasts. Its mostly middle age to older people who buy a nice luxury car for daily driving. What you see at shows and events are 90% enthusiasts. There would be more enthusiasts for Magnums, Chargers, and Challengers. :racing:

It's also more prone to the "bling" crowd as well and they don't race

Not all of us old guys have no interest in modding or showing. I for one mod and show ,I even drove from SE PA to CA in 07 for the Spring Fling.

When I saw how many 300s weren't registered for LX&B I thought about bringing ours instead of the MSRT8. But then the wife volunteered to drive some gals to a musician's conference in WI... and that's where the Heritage Edition was for a week. Wouldn't have looked quite as good as INeedMorePower's SRTD though regardless!

I see lots of 300s.
While I see lots more 300s than Magnums, Challengers or maybe even Chargers here in Houston, most are six cylinder with a smattering of 5.7 cars. Very few SRT8s. At least half have custom wheels, 20s or 22s.
In my neighborhood there's one 300C SRT8 I've seen at the grocery store, and one bright red Magnum SRT8 two blocks away.
BTW, some of us old guys like "sleepers" as opposed to the more flashy look. Not putting anybody down, the cars are beautiful, but I prefer to go unnoticed. ALL my mods are invisible, and will remain so. ALL are performance related, not appearance. My eventual goal is a 300 that will accelerate, stop and corner almost as well as a new blown 'vette. And look like Grandpa's ride with slightly larger wheels.
It's just a matter of taste...

I see all types of LX's up here in Calgary. No one type more than any other on a usual day.
I agree with the previous comments that cars at a car show are from the enthuiasts which is a small % of the population and 300's are usually bought by people who are not interested in modding or car clubs.
I went and did some additions and this is what I found for total production numbers:
300 597,822
Magnum 166,760
Charger 405122
Challenger 32505

Actually where I'm at on the southside of indy there are a lot of 300s, but very few have been modded. I know there is like 2 others besides mine that are running 22s. For the most part its older people.
