My left rear tire was worn down to the wear bars and beyond in some places. I've got 20K miles on the car. A while ago when my Magnum was newer I spun that tire really bad at the track. I had turned off ESP with the Predator. I lost a lot of rubber that day. I knew I would have to replace the tire before the others.
I did some research and found that Discount Tire sells the OEM 18" Goodyear tire for $139.00 locally. Sears had them for $158.00 but if I bring in proof of Discount Tire's price they would match it plus a few more dollars off. I ended up paying $137.04 for the tire itself. Add in the road hazard, mounting/balancing, TPMS rebuild kit, and sales tax the total was $193.65.
Sorry Discount Tire but I've got to stick with Sears. They are open at night and on weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) which 99% of the time is when I find a nail or screw in my tires. And since they match prices I have no reason to go to Discount Tire again.
