Hi Everyone! Andre here from Whitby... I ordered a brand new 2009 SRT8 Charger 3 weeks ago, I found out today that I will be getting a 2010 instead for the same price... the discounts up here are pretty crazy... $12,250 from Dodge, plus an extra $3,000 discount from the dealer... plus they are eating the rest of my 05 Hemi Sport Ram lease payments ~$2,000... I was not really in the market for an SRT8, but for around 30G's I could not say no!!!

ETA is about 6-8 weeks... I am really pumped!

Here's the boltons I plan on doing this season... I am thinking about a cam next spring...

-Airaid Cold Air Intake w/Ram Air Scoop Adapter for the Charger (is this better than basic CAI like the Mopar one?)
-Predator
-180 Stat
-Magnaflow Mid Pipes w/ High Flow Catalytic Converters
-Magnaflow Catback Exhaust

Does anyone have an SRT8 with the Magnaflow catback? I would love to hear it, I want to make sure that it's not too loud... If anyone has a car with simmilar mods it would be a real treat to go for a drive with you!

How do I become a member of the Diehards, even though I don't have the SRT yet? I still have my Hemi Sport Ram, so I guess that could be considered Mopar Muscle

2 years ago I sold my Hot Rod Firebird to start a gym called Anytime Fitness, it's going to be nice to get back into a car that has some balls :)

When I build one online I see $4,000 off, not $12,250? With those discounts it puts the car around $27,000 for a brand new SRT-8? That sounds way to cheap.

Notice I said I was from Toronto, Canada... the discount 3 weeks ago was $12,250 it's now dropped down to $11,750... the dealer added an additional $3000 discount and are eating 4 truck payments of $500 each...

MSRP $47145
Dodge Rebate -$12,250
Dealer Rebate -$3000
4 Lease Payments -$2000
Discounted Base price = $29895

Checkout www. dodge.ca/en/charger/ and choose the build & price option!

This was from 3 weeks ago...

It's interesting to note that Dodge Canada has the MSRP of an SRT8 Challenger at $46295 making it $850 cheaper than the Charger... HOWEVER, there are no discounts on the Challengers!

I am really happy with the deal I got... I was never planning on buying a car that is close to 50G's!

None of ever were.. Lol
Man if you can get one at that price f'ing do it! Opt for the F1 tires. What color are you getting? I think 10's will be somewhat rare.

It's a done deal... I already have my VON... I got the following options...

Option Group II (Kicker)
Option Group III (Nav)
No Charge F1 upgrade

I am getting black

Nice bro! They won't even let me select a 10 on their website. $37,420 after a $4,000 discount. What a sweet deal for you. I had a black SRT Charger. What a gorgeous car.

Ummm... have you seen pics of the new Charger? Just curious, I've yet to see any pop up anywhere. Unless the new model is dated for 2011 release.

sidenote.... Did you buy an Anytime fitness franchise or you actually started it up? Congrats either way I'm a member.

Congratz on the purchase. That is a really sweet deal you got there. Loks like you've done some homework on your beginning mods. If you interested in joining the Diehards, you could just show up at the CDN tire parking lot @Salem and Kingston rd @ around 5pm. They usually meet about that time..it's easy to spot them, just look for all the LX's. Ask for Gord, or you cold PM Silverlightening (Gord) and he'll hook you up.

The 2010's have not been formally announced yet... I ordered an 09 last month, but the 09/10 cutoff date has already gone by so the dealer is giving me a 2010... the 2010's have just been entered into the dealerships ordering systems this week... I saw all this with my very own eyes as I was a little skeptical... I don't expect any changes...

Anytime Fitness is franchise from the States that started in 2002, right now it's the largest chain of gyms in the world... I opened the 1st one in Ontario in January 2008 in Ajax, I now have 3 locations in Whitby and Pickering as well... this is a recent newspaper article about my wife and I... along with a link to some local TV commercials!

those incentives maybe very different the time your car comes in and you sign a sales contract. i can see you being so pissed off about this at the contract time.

I don't understand what you are trying to say? There are laws in Ontario that protects the consumer...

I'm not doubting you can order them... but the 2010 model year was to undergo a re-styling. However, I don't see why Dodge would offer the huge incentives on a new model. Hmmm... maybe the re styling is dated for 2011 now. Regardless, your goin to really enjoy the car. I can assume you'll be joining us down at the track ASAP. lol

don't be surprised when Dodge doesn't honor that $12000 rebate on your 2010 model. nowhere does it say it applies to the 2010 models. when dodge doesn't honor this, do you really think the dealer will eat the $12000 to keep you happy? no laws will be broken either.

If hes signed the sales agreement I don't think that leaves them much of a choice.

the sales contract agreement is only signed when he picks up the cars. he didn't do that yet. it isn't the same as the order thing he signed.

He would have signed a vehicle purchase agreement...don't see how they can legally get out of it now....and besides, this is a great way for the 2010 to get some exposure, smart on the dealerships part if you ask me!

Exactly... the GM of the dealership was the one to explain to me that I will most likely be getting a 2010... he's a car buff as well :racing:

sounds awesome andre. can't wait to see the car. feel free to stop by the canadian tire to introduce yourself even before you get the car. as for the exhaust, a local member has pretty much that setup on his 300srt8. his boardname is sik300srt8. he can be found at the ct some saturdays too. it doesn't seem too loud to me, but i've never been in the car.

In Canada, Chrysler have announced "if your ordered 2009 can't be built we will guarantee a 2010 for the same price and with the same incentives", Andre will get his car at that amazing deal. Congrats Andre.

Fred, it's 2011 the big changes.

They will honor whatever price that is given on the day of ordering. There were people that are just know getting 2009 Classic Challengers at EP plus rebate. They oredered at the right time.
