Your request for another Fun Run has been answered! We have been able to plan one for July 4th. I know that this may be a bit last minute, but there is so much going on in the later part of July and it is the first weekend that all schools are done.

Date: Saturday July 4th, meet time 9:30 am, Depart 10:00 am
Location: Rest stop on Hwy 400 north. North of Major MacKenzie Rd.

The route will be posted later, but we have a fun road full of twisties as part of the day!!

We will find a lunch area where restaruants and a picnic area are closeby.

We are open for suggestions for a dinner stop. Maybe some place in north Toronto.

Some pics from the last fun run:

We know that some of you may already have plans for this day, but for the people looking for something to do, this is a great way to spend the day seeing some of the best country side that Ontario has to offer.

:bump: It is time for a bump.

Looks like the weather is great and that gas should be down by 4.1 cents. That will help.

See you at around 9.30.

Hey Sheldon, the first part of the trip will probably be done by noon if you wanted to cut loose half way. I did that on the first trip and we had a blast. Just something to consider.

FYI: We are about 80% confirmed on this one Gord.

Here is the follow up pictures from the run on Saturday.

The day started off a little if'y, it was a bit cool and over cast. As we were heading to the back roads it look like it could rain, but it cleared up and the weather turned great.

Our trip took us up some back roads that ended just outside Bala. With a short stop at the Muskoka Winery and Cramberry store. From there we headed into Port Carling for lunch at Tapps Cottage Eatery, sitting on the patio over looking the towns main drag. We had an outstanding lunch, with fantastic service.

As we where sitting talking about the mornings drive, you could not wipe everyones smiles away from the 1st haft days drive.

After lunch we looped Lake Rosseau, then back down to Bala for quick rest before heading to the twisty roads to Hwy 11 then home ward. We ended the day at the Candian Tire Show & Shine in Ajax. What a great day.

A quick stop before the real fun begins.
