First off, a HUGE thanks to Larry (Killshot) and the Lago Vista community, especially our hosting business Lago Vista Tire & Auto.
As expected I arrived a little while after the height of the event due to a swim meet, but it was still awesome. I enjoyed the spirited drive on the curvy roads to get there. Guys, thanks for saving some ribs! They were great!. Moist, tender seasoned so welll....mmmMMmmMmMmmmM. OH~ Sorry, got distracted there reminiscing!
And the tacos~ mmMmmmMmm... ooops! Did it again.
A big huge thanks to all of our sponsors for the door prizes! We know that the economy really makes supporting us more difficult!

Anyway, it was a great turnout! ~30 cars that included 8 new Challengers and a host of cool classic muscle cars and antiques. I was told that I missed the big part of the crowd that passed through, but there were still folks discovering the new shop due to our gathering. They enjoyed the free BBQ and tacos, too!
The garage owner was fantastic! Honestly, we had some of this profesional mechanics and all of the tools totally at our disposal, including lifts! Mods?? We are talking brakes, paddle shifters, suspension and some CMR Tuning going on! Yeah baby, it was rocking!
We had all the cars out in front of the shop and it seemed to draw in all kinds new potiential customers. The shop owner was very pleased with all of the attention.
That night some of us went to P'Villes Tinseltown. I'm sorry to say it seems to be shrinking. A few of us went over to the newest hangout area. 183/360 behind the Taco Cabana around 10:00. When we arrived, there were about 30 cars. Most were classics. Within a half hour, it all changed. The classics pulled out and it quickly grew to a few hundred cars & bikes. It was a mix of euro, asian & domestics. Albert jopined in w/ his new Camaro and a friend brought his new 6 speed SRT Challenger that he picked up a couple weeks ago. He already had the suspension and exhaust modified and is anxiously awaiting a 440 in the next couple of weeks.
All in all, a fun filled day of car events.
