According to the manual, you can connect ONE extra sensor. The Dashhawk website is pretty good, and you can download the manual (128 pages).
I just got mine yesterday and am trying to figure out how to configure it to display what I want. Chrysler parameters seem to be geared to diesel trucks.
What about air/fuel ratio's

no.
i dont know if the DH has an input for/from a wideband sensor,
but the one it gets from the car is not even close to accurate because it is a narrowband sensor.
you need to put a bung in your exhaust pipe and wire up a wideband sensor to get a real A/F readout,
the find a tool to display it, whether it be a single A/F gauge, or a unit that can display from multiple inputs

Mike - you need to get the Hawkeye EGT kit for that set up.
The Dash hawk itself can not take an external sensor.
You can monitor s ton of PIDs for the cars, there are just a lot for the trucks in there as well.
I have one screen with
Cat Temp 1 2
STFT 1 2
LTFT 1 2
Then I have a temps table with
ECT, AIT, AAT, Trans Temp
Then I have
KR, RPM, Pratio, Load
with 1o screens there are a lot of way to log and read live data.

Question then, my tuner told me there is no resone to get the EGT as he tells me there is such a delay that it will not provied you the infomation fast to prevent damage, and that it tends to measure heat soak more than anything eles. DO you guys find this true?

No idea I havent added EGT yet and the sample rate will dictate the speed of the reading.
I do plan on adding several EGT probes on a selector switch to log a few things through my PLX/SSi-4 setup.
Depending on what you want to do, and how many gauges you want to have, you could get a PLX DM100 dm200 with the AFR and EGT and only use one display point on a pillar pod.
Just depends on your budget and what you are after.

I datalog boost, egt, and a/f with the zeitronix and can see how they relate
Your tuners opinion seems jaded to me, what was he using as his basis of experience?

or just spend a couple more dollars and go with the triniti?...i myself have the zeitronix as well as the predator...both do logging...i believe it all comes down to a matter of personal preference in the end....results vary with ever user i supose...

The Aeroforce gauge will monitor everything that the Dashhawk does plus more transmission paramaters such as torque converter clutch status (locked/unlocked), TCC slip, actual and target gear, as well as ESP system parameters such as lateral G's, brake pressure, yaw, steering wheel angle, etc.
It also has 2 analog inputs for wide band, boost sensor, EGT, fluid or air temps, etc.
It is much more flexible than the Dashhawk and cheaper as well.

i didnt realize that had analog inputs.
i think i just found my match.

damn. im sold.

I've connected my Zeitronix to a DashDAQ-XL. I now can monitor boost, EGT, A/F and 547 other parameters. http://www.dashdaq.com/features/gauges.htm
