rear suspension noise

0n my 08, when going over an abrupt change in pavement(ie concrete to asphalt) I get a clunk /clank or thump in the rear. Suspension looks to be ok,what else could it be?Thanks,D.:beerchug:

Could be ,put the car on alift this past weekend, all suspension parts /bushings/bolts were fine. wife rode in the car yesterday,said it sounds like its coming from underneath,in about the same area as the side to side brace by the x-pipe.I'll have to recheck my hangers and exhaust for any issues,D.:beerchug:

So... the noise was coming from my BT strut covers due to running the MP strut brace(only cost me 128.00 for the dealer to figure this out:doh:). They need to be spaced up with additional washers to compensate for the strut brace mounting plate thickness which was hitting it goimg over bumps. D.:beerchug:
