Final lowering help - Eibach vs Hotchkis springs?

Hey guys,

I received all my KONI shocks and I want to order the lowering springs today. Im torn between the Eibach pro kit springs, Or the Hotchkis springs.

I have 22x9.5 in the front with a Pirelli 265/35/22 (seems a little bigger then other 265s)
I have 22x10.5 in the rear with a Pirelli 295/30/22

In the front currently, I have exactly 2" to play with, from where it sits now to where it would be close to sitting on the tire.........The eibach says 1.5" drop in the front but im afraid even if the fenders rolled, its going to rub, especially if the springs settle more then 1.5" which ive heard they do sometimes

In the rear currently, I have 3" from where it sits to where it would be resting on the tire BUT thats with the nivomats in........when I re-place the nivomats with the KONI dampers that will probably lower it a little already......with the eibach kit putting it at a 2" drop in the rear, and the hotchkis putting it at 1"3/8, I think I could get away with either of them

Problem is, the Eibach seems like it would lower the rear perfectly but be too much in the front, the Hotchkis seems like it would lower the front perfectly but not be enough in the rear!

Help me see the light so I can order this afternoon!

Personally I'd go with Hotchkis to give it more of an aggresive stance. I know a lot of folks will choose Eibach but to me the Eibach kit drops it too much in the rear. Almost looks like the rear sags a lil. Have you checked Pedders? They have some springs also that will give you a nice drop.

Eibach engineers the springs so that the vehicle sits level and not raked. It only appears lower in the rear because the wheel wells are taller in the front.

Right, I understand that. I guess for me personally, I like the stock stance and would look for a brand with more of an even drop. Maybe the drop is different for V8's but for me the V6 advertise a F1.4" and R1.7" drop. I'm in the market as well and am leaning towards Pedders, Hotchkis or Ksport right now.

i say eibach, even if it looks 'saggy' in the back it looks much better. i have the sportlines on and it looks perfect, if there is a gap still there then what is the point of the springs?

Sportlines give it an even drop. 2" all around. I think we were talking about the Pro Kit. That is what I would go for, a more even drop.

I went for hotchkis........Eibach would be too much trouble with my wheel setup......fenders getting rolled tomorrow

The fender rolling would help with the Eibach, but that's probably a wise decision.
