I wanted to put together a tire/wheel package for some limited street use, but more for track days and I knew my 22" Vipers with Nitto 420's weren't going to cut it.

I picked up a used set of 300 SRT wheels (Thanks Nathan!) and cleaned them all up and dropped them off at my powder coater... Fast forward one week and here ya go! The color is called Anthracite and it is almost identical to the Competiton Gray that I have on my Viper replicas.

Went with Nitto NT-05's in a 275/40/20 all around. They feel pretty sticky with a treadwear rating of 200 and AA in traction. Surprisingly, the tires are almost as wide as my M&H DR's that are 325/45/17 on a 17x9 wheel. I'm guessing that the M&H would flatten out on a 10" wide wheel a little more. Pics below.

Sorry, no pics with them mounted up yet... my car is still up at my shop - Modern Muscle in Chicago. Almost done with the stroker build - can't wait to try to destroy these tires! :rock:

Thanks guys! Like Pat said, this has been a long time coming! I have these new wheels/tires to play with (and hopefully get some road course time) and a set of DR's that will be strapped on as soon as my car gets back down to Indy. Then it's time to go get some times at the track!

That color looks very similar to the Columbia Coatings "Chrome" that I did mine with in the basement;

I'm interested to see how sticky these NT-05s really are. Trust me, I will punish them to the full extent!

Looks fantastic. I've heard the NT05's run wide. I'm jealous of you SRT guys that can run 275's with stock wheels. Us RT guys with our different front knuckles can't. I had to send back my 275/40/20's and go with 255/45/20's.

WOW! Looks great, Ryan! And $75 per...I had no idea! Beats what I'm guessing black chroming would cost with a stick!

Who did the PC?

Heeeeeeyyyy, WAIT A MINUTE! What's up with the "flippin of the bird" drawing on the rim in this pic? Anyone else spot it? :)

Thanks again Nate, they needed a little work to make em look pretty, but overall they were in great shape!
