I am very close to pulling the trigger on one of the choice above. I was wanting to get everyone's quick opinion on which one I should go with. I think i might be leaning toward the proxes 4 but I have heard they are noisy. (vs Falken)
Please let me know what you think is the best tire. SIze 255/45/20

I have 245/45/zr20 on front and 275/40/zr20 Toyo Proxes 4's on my charger and love them, don't find them noisey at all, and they just want to grip and shoot the car.....No Complaints at all
I just had a set of Proxi 4's put on (255/45-20's). Replaced GY RSA's (tread separation). Very quiet, smooth and a vast improvement in handling. It's like a different car.
I researched the same tires as you have, chose the Toyos and have no regrets at all.

I'm a big fan of Vredesteins but would recommend the Toyos. The have a very nice looking sidewall that fills up the fenderwell unlike the stock Goodyears.

I notice that you also include the Grabbers. I have the 255/55/18" Grabbers, they are outstanding tires, stick like glue, especially in the wet. My only complaint , they are a mite loud. Hard to beat for the price. I get lots of comments that they look expensive.

Well I had Toyo and I just put on the 452. 1st impression of the 452 is that they are a softer ride then the Toyo, The Toyo sidewall looks better, both grip the road good even though with the 452 I feel like the car want to move more on a turn but it doesn't ( don't know how to explain it), It hasn't rained down here so I don't know how the Falken runs on the wet road, but all and all so far I like the tires.

Same here and on my second set in 90k miles. There is a "store" on EBay that has them for $645 shipped.

I have had the toyos for about 4 months now and love them. They grip and launch the car better than my old f1's. My buddy yesterday told me I need some sh1tt1er tires so I can get squirrlier. These things just grip.

if you're looking for a great grip go with the toyo's. Have you looked into michelin?

I have Toyo Proxy 4 in 255/35/22. They grip well, but are loud. I only had one other choice, Nitto, in this size.

I have had the General Grabber UHP's (255/55-18's) on for about 3000 miles and really like them so far. They look sweet and are very sticky. Road noise isn't too bad, but don't know what will happen as I get more miles on them. They definitely are quieter than any snows I have run...
They are also awesome in heavy rain and deep puddles! Hardly any pull with the puddles and don't even really notice the "river ruts" on the roads while driving.

Another vote for grabbers here. I really like them, and they have a great price/performance ratio.
Although for the same money you can get Vreds in 255/55/18 from Moe's for just a little more than the grabbers. I think someone paid ~$650 for a set delivered.

How do the Proxes 4 preform in the snow?

I will give my vote for the Falkens, I had them on my car and they were a great tire, good price, long tread wear, great in the rain!

Im also looking for new tires soon so sign me onto this one. Will 275/40's fit all the way around an 07 CSRT8. I have the staggered stock tires now and would like to be able to rotate for a little more tire life.

Throw my vote in for the Falkens! Good traction, good cornering, quite, unbelievable rain performance. Never had Toyo's but the Falkens are a huge improvement over the RSA and F1's.

I have 255/50/18s Toyos on my Magnum, find them quite noisy and not great in the wet. Am down to 20-30 treadlife, and an unrepairable puncture about 1/4in from the sidewall on one of them. So I find myself considering Falkens with a slightly higher profile. Basically because at 2/3 or less price of the Toyos, they seem more than adequte for 6 months of the year.

Another vote for Toyos. When I first got them installed the very first thing I noticed was how great they perform in the rain. My old tires would pull like you might expect, these things just seem to charge right through standing water with no problem. They also handle very nice and are way quieter than the tires I had.

I have 32K miles on my car and im on my 5th set of tires.I have used the F1 Supercars,Falkens,Proxes 4,and Sunny SN3800.Heres my opinion on all of these.
F1 Supercars- I actually like these tires, they just dont have a very good tread life and were'nt wide enough for me(255).They have the best looking sidewall by far!
Falkens- I hated these tires!Has the worst looking sidewall of all of them, and like the F1's they are just too narrow.Performance wise theres nothing really wrong with them,I just couldnt get over how ugly the sidewall was!
Proxes 4- When I bought these tires they were pretty cheap, I wanna say around the 110 area and were a great tire!No complaints! I dont think you can find them that cheap ne more. They had a nice wide stance to them (275) and a cool different looking tread pattern. The sidewall isnt as nice looking as the F1's but still nice!I would say the thread life isnt good, but on this set of tires I started to figure out it wasnt the tires it was just me!...lol
Sunny Sn 3800- On these tires is when i decided that im just going to buy the absolute cheapest tire since no matter which kind I buy that they were only going to last me 8k miles!Found these for like $95.They are actually a pretty decent tire, kind of on the soft side so you wont get as many miles out of them as say the Proxes4.They have a nice looking tread pattern and a side wall very similiar to the Proxes.I got these during the winter time and I must admit they are VERY LOUD when its cold outside. Now that its warm you cant even hear them.I ordered my second set of these and should be in later on today, paid $97 each.
