I'm reserving my LXOM vote for the member I feel most deserving. Kindly tell me, and the rest of this international forum, not that "Teamo needs our help", but WHY Teamo is deserving of this honor... Thanks! :thumbs_u:

Teamo deserves this honour not because of his car (it is gorgeous) but because he is always there for you when you are having issues with your car or need help doing a mod to your car and also a person that is full to the top of knowledge which is great because you can ask him for opinions and recomendations and not only that he makes time to do a fundraiser for cancer and is submiting it on behalf of a fallen member that past last summer of cancer. He is a huge asset to our family and that is why I believe he deserves LXOM

Oscar looks after our cars mechanically like they were one of his own...he donates his time weekly taking in contributions for the BC Cancer foundation from the members, he is an avid racer every weekend at the strip, and quite honestly, one hella of a nice person to have in the BCLX and fortunate to have in the LX Forums.

What is there that can't be said about Teamo/Oscar...?
He is a true enthusiast, who's love & knowledge for these cars is extensive.
He has worked on several of the 604 cars. always on his free time, with the utmost of care and TLC.
Oscar as a person?
One needs only to meet Oscar once, to gain a true friend for life.
He was selected as "The Keeper of The Can", by the old guard. The reason for this being due to his Honesty, his commitment and attendance in showing for regularly scheduled events, and his belief in the cause that we collect for... The BC Cancer Foundation.
As a friend?
It doesn't really matter what Oscar has got going on at any given time, personally.
He will make time for you, no matter what. You pick up the phone... He's there.
Whatever you need, he's good to go.
Who hasn't had the opportunity to meet the 'Tribe', Oscar's family, who he regularly brings out to weekly meets and major functions. I have become friends with several members of Oscar's family... Why? Because of his beliefs and family values... I have even been given the name 'SkookumChuck' by one of his close relatives, due to the friendships this man inspires.
Last year, when we lost David "Mean Bee" to his battle with cancer, Ocscar was one of a select few that helped me prepare David's car for the Memorial service, and also helped me to make sure it was at our car show, detailed and presentable.
He also donated a special Memorial prize which was awarded at our show.
I could go on... There are many personal instances which I could relate...
But they are personal... And if you know him, you have some too...
One that makes me smile, is the memory of driving the whole way down to California, with Oscar, in his comfy Pajamas the whole trip... I'd smile every time he got out of his car to fuel up....
If you have not met this man yet... put it on your list of things to do.
You are the one who's missing out.
Win, Lose or Draw, Oscar.... You mean way more than LXOM to me, My Friend.

Very well said indeed! :thumbs_u:
...And if you don't mind me saying so, IMO far more appropriate for LXOM than, "Hey, my buddy got nominated and needs your vote!"
Thanks for the PM, DannyBoy...

I think Oscar is a lot like Fargo, a previous LXOM. He's probably worked on everyone of our cars. Most of the time we trade for his services or get them for free. He's one of my favorites. LOL

Sounds like most of what I would have to say has been covered, so I'm gonna go with "My buddy got nominated and needs your vote!" Teamo isn't getting my vote because he's a member of BCLX. Teamo is getting my vote because he's earned my respect, friendship, and admiration. A genuinely great guy.
